For example, there is a legend among the older generation that this house was built by an old sailor, and he was so devoted to his home that he bequeathed him to be buried here. After death, the owner of the house was walled up in the foundation, and now every night in the house you can hear wolf crying. They also say that before there was a guillotine in that place, then a house was already built, but no one could live there normally. After the union developed, there lived a dishonest policeman who, once going mad, shot his entire family.
But the most widespread legend is the one told by the neighbors of the popular house, is this: on this site there was once an old clay hut, and there lived an old woman, and a witch. When she died, none of her relatives showed up, then her body was buried at night right on the site. The son of the deceased woman later returned from abroad and was told that her mother was buried in the village cemetery. Later the new owner decided to build a house here. While laying the foundation, the builders found a "grave", but the owner was not told anything about it. But not only that, as there was not enough brick to build the house, the workers decided to borrow it, dismantling the wall of the neighboring cemetery. They finished building the house, but the son could not live there …
The former owner of the house in Usatovo claims that nothing like this could have happened. As he says that he himself heard many stories about his own house, but this is the most ordinary house, which was built by his grandfather, but just recently he sold it. According to Nikolai, the building was really empty for many years, because they simply did not want to sell it. Now the new owners, who are members of the Christian community, are overhauling the legendary house. So far, the tenants are happy with their new purchase. But, it is not known, for how long?
