A letter from a resident of Odessa with a story about a detailed observation of an unidentified object came to the mail of our site.
It was in early September 2014. I live in Odessa and when I have free time I like to walk around the city with beautiful views. So it was this time.
I walked along Komsomolsky Boulevard, now it is Zhvanetsky Boulevard, went to the site from where the Odessa Bay and the port are still visible. The weather was fine, there were not a single cloud in the sky, the visibility was perfect, the city of Yuzhny was clearly visible in the distance.
The working day ends at 17.30, while I walk, by 18.00 I am on the boulevard. At this time, a Boeing 737 was taking off from Odessa airport to Kiev, I often fly it. In good weather, it took off towards the sea with a left turn and went along the coast to the north, to Kiev. It was interesting and beautiful to watch from the boulevard, as he, having completed the turn maneuver, went into the climb.
So it was this time - almost like that. I don’t complain about my eyesight, I don’t wear glasses. The plane went in a straight line, with its port side towards the city. I noticed that next to the plane, just below it and in front, some object was moving, it was moving parallel to the plane.
I determined the size in comparison with the passing plane. If the wing length was approximately 20 meters, then the object was at a distance of 300 meters from it. If the fuselage width was 5 meters, then its height was 15 meters, the width was 8. The lower part, the bottom, was flat, the upper part was domed.
It may be funny, but the object looked like an aircraft from the movie "Kin Dza Dza". It was very clearly visible, the color was silver metal, some dark, but not black stripes on it. There were no antennas, no wings, no tanks. Moved in my concept - sideways, that is, dome up.
When it aligned with the plane, a blurry background around the object was clearly visible, which most likely indicates its temperature or a possible screen around it.

The parallel movement visually lasted about two minutes, then the plane began to climb sharply and probably went on the route, and the object stopped, for some time it was motionless.
Then very quickly, having changed the direction almost to the opposite of the one in which he was moving, he left my field of vision.
Interestingly, there were a lot of people on the boulevard, many pay attention to the plane when it flies by, but here, somehow, everyone looked at each other in such a way that they swallowed the wasp and were silent. So everyone dispersed in silence. I've seen a lot in my life for which there is no explanation, at least for me.
