According to The Chronicle, in the Nkai area, police arrested a 34-year-old man named Christopher Siband, who was caught red-handed in his nefarious case.
He sucked blood from the woman's throat cut by him, and with him he had a pot, into which he wanted to draw even more blood.
Realizing that he was noticed, Sibanda fled the scene of the crime, but later the police managed to find him and put him in prison. The incident took place at about 2 pm, in broad daylight, on a rural road between the Kan clinic and the village of Sikhewu, where the woman lived.
