Vampire legends are now attracting more and more attention from people around the world. Mysticism and genuine evil accompany them. What is mysticism?

Modern laymen hardly know that in fact vampires have been known to mankind since time immemorial. The early Middle Ages are replete with essays and notes on the periodic manifestation of vampirism among the inhabitants of Europe. Who are they? Vampires …

According to research by scientists, these are people suffering from a complex blood disease, which consists in the absence of full-fledged blood cells in the human body. In order to replenish their supply, it is enough for a person to drink the blood of a person or an animal. In such people, due to the peculiarities of the circulatory system, the soft tissues of the body become sensitive. The gums swell and rise up. This creates the appearance of a grin, which is very reminiscent of an animal smile. Today, people with similar pathologies are treated with blood transfusions. But is it that simple to explain? Could the origin of vampires be extraterrestrial?

What is most interesting, archaeologists have repeatedly found human skulls in different parts of the planet, very similar to the skulls of vampires. They really had their jaw changed. Fangs were clearly visible on it. The internal structure of the body of such people was no different from the internal structure of the body of the inhabitants of that time.

One of the brightest representatives of the vampire epic culture is Count Dracula, he is also Vlad Tepes. He was nicknamed "bloody". As the historical chronicles say, Vlad had sadistic inclinations from early childhood. The fact is that in those days the Polish principality was subjected to regular raids by invaders. All young guys were sent to the education and training of military affairs of the Golden Horde. Vlad was one of these students. Unfortunately, the training was very brutal. Dozens of people were killed in front of the guys every day. They were brutally mocked and impaled after that. The young men had to watch this and thus develop composure in themselves. But in Vlad everything he saw caused a nervous breakdown. He protested and was imprisoned. Imprisonment in a local fortress did not do him any good. He became even more embittered and began to thirst for blood.

Upon returning to his native land, Vlad took the throne as the eldest of the ruler's sons. The massacres he saw were not in vain. Vlad began to punish local residents who were guilty before the authorities in this way. He imprisoned lawbreakers one by one and his lust for blood increased. During his reign, there was no peace in the country. His aggressive campaigns were a huge salvation for the locals. Then for several months he relaxed his feuds and switched to neighboring states. The people were scared. The thing is that the ruler was not thirsty for gold, he was thirsty for blood.

There are many legends that say that Vlad drank blood every day, that without it he could neither fight nor exist normally. And because of this he was nicknamed "bloody". This fact prompts historians to think that Vlad had the same unexplained illness.

Vlad was considered by many of his contemporaries a vampire. He did not start a single trip during daylight hours. Aspen stakes were the main instrument of reprisal against the disobedient. Today, few people can imagine the scale of his abuse of his people. He impaled people by the hundreds every day. By this he frightened the rulers of the nearest states.

Today all this seems to be a beautiful legend, which is designed to frighten modern society with cruelty and hatred of all humanity. But why exactly Vlad Tepes appears in the title role in the acclaimed bestseller "Dracula". Bram Stoker chose him for the lead role of a vampire.

The novel reliably describes the domain of Dracula. Dungeons in which prisoners were confined. This is all pretty weird. Especially the way the author describes exactly the dungeons of Vlad the Impaler's palace in his novel. Indeed, at the time of this writing, the drawings of the building, and even more of the underground passages, were inaccessible to general observation. Even the ceremonial hall described in the book is exactly like the hall for the Tepes ball. Perhaps the author, who lived much later than the famous ruler, drew his inspiration from otherworldly sources.

In the Middle Ages, there were clans, associations of people who called themselves vampires. They met secretly in the dungeons of the castles specially arranged for this. At night they drank blood from golden goblets and considered themselves representatives of a superior race. The most interesting thing is that only noble persons entered such closed clubs. They made huge contributions in the form of gems, money and other valuables in order to remain members of these closed clubs.

Although such meetings of interest were held in the strictest confidence, information about them has been preserved and reached modern scientists. Scientists, having obtained the names of some who considered themselves vampires, noble persons, came to the conclusion that they really died much later than their contemporaries. They lived an average of ten, twelve years longer than the rest of their families. Moreover, they mostly really died from old age, maintaining motor and mental activity until the last days.

Having received permission to exhume some of them, scientists were horrified. Many graves were empty. Where are the bodies of those who considered themselves vampires during their lifetime? Or maybe they did not die at all, but live peacefully among modern people and continue their dark activities?

This is one of the mysteries of history unsolved by modern scientists. Perhaps, having solved it, scientists would receive answers to questions regarding the possibility of making human life endless. Today this will seem like a fairy tale, a myth to many, but scientists are still trying to find in the human blood formula that trigger mechanism, stopping which, they will stop aging. We can only expect new discoveries and answers to exciting questions.
