Rosstat has published a forecast of the gender or, if you will, the sex ratio of Russians until 2036. The main message of the study, which was spread in the media, is that by this time there will be more men than women only in Chukotka and Kamchatka. But there is nothing new in this, now the situation is about the same. And it is clear that mostly men travel to regions with a harsh climate, where most of the population is temporary workers, which creates the corresponding statistics.

That is, nothing special will happen. Even in the Soviet Union, there was a joke that half of the children grow up in same-sex families - mom + grandmother. Now there are 1154 women per thousand men in Russia, so the notorious forecast is just optimistic - in 17 years the ratio is planned to be brought to 1: 1128. Hopefully not an increase in female mortality, although given the current birth rate, this is the most realistic way.

It turns out that there is no point in sounding the alarm? After all, demography doesn't care - one bull can inseminate a whole herd of cows, and in human society, single mothers are also entitled to separate state assistance, not to mention the maternal capital for the second child.

The electorate of the future

Geneticists know that nature is experimenting with men as a material of less demographic value. Among men there are more very smart and very stupid, genetic diseases and genius are much more common. Nevertheless, the increased mortality in Russia is a much more social phenomenon than a genetic one. We have one of the worst ratios of men and women in the world after 65 years - according to various estimates, 0.44 - 0.46, that is, less than 50 men remain per 100 women. Next to us are only Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine and several old women from the Palau archipelago; just above is another role model, DPRK.

Check out the CIA's World Fact Book - a delightful reading in places. In the age category over 65, there are 14.66%, that is, one seventh of the population of Russia. This is 6.56 million men and 14.27 million women - here you are no longer "nine guys for ten girls", this is a kind of gender genocide.

More boys than girls are born in all countries without exception, and this ratio remains in youth. Thus, under the age of 24, we have 19.4 million men and only 18.4 million women. The "extra" million is a lot on the scale of our not too densely populated country.

And given that this is the age of maximum fertility, "mating games", women are not too far-sighted to feel themselves in an advantageous position, they become "princesses" and very pickily choose their partners.

But then - bitter disappointment: men die one after another, and the aged "princesses" are not ready for the harsh reality. By the age of 54, women are gradually bypassing the number of men, and after reaching the pre-reform retirement age, it seems that all they do is run to the funerals of their peers. Lonely, embittered, hating the whole world, having a majority in the elections - these are modern Russian women in their fifties. And on a single voting day, September 8, 2019, it will be they who will determine the future of their cities and towns. And they do not want it to be good in the future, they want everyone to feel bad here and now.

Why do we need old people

And what about the enemies and, let's not be afraid of this word, friends? USA - 0.77 men aged 65+ per peer, China - 0.92 (but these are the consequences of the massacres of newborn girls during the "one family - one child" program), the European Union as a whole - 0.74, Great Britain - 0.80, Iran - 0.89, United Arab Emirates - 1.77 (also features of national culture).

The reasons for the extinction of Russian men are well known - cardiovascular diseases in all their diversity. Stress plus alcohol and smoking do their job slowly but surely. And here it is not even possible to reproach men: in our places, still a patriarchal country, they seem to be responsible for stability and earnings, and during the active life of the current 55-year-old "pre-retirement", several Russians have changed, and everyone had to somehow adjust. 1990, 1994, 2002, 2008, 2013, 2019 - completely different formations, different models of survival. And to lead your family through all these trials, without dropping down, not getting drunk is a real feat. Unfortunately, there were practically no such heroes.

We add that the shortage of mature men is a direct path to domestic violence. A middle-aged woman who was lucky enough to get at least some little man often endures him to the last, and he feels his indispensability and impunity: the roles have changed, the aged boys take revenge for humiliation in their youth. And then they stomp on a zone that does not prolong life either.

But these are still marginal phenomena, refuse. On the whole, the shortage of elderly men in Russia is both a civilizational problem and a practical one. From time immemorial, it was these people who brought knowledge and wisdom to society. It is generally accepted that now everything has changed, and if the old man is not able to master the iPad, then what is generally reasonable he can say? By the way, this is the basis for the phenomenon of young people "piled up". But human relations, basic ethics, basic values remain the same, and they must be carried from generation to generation. This is also because if the Russian elders do not transfer wisdom to us, very soon the Chechen elders will start doing it.

What do we have to do

The fight against alcohol should be a government program. The sale of alcoholic beverages should be taken out to separate stores and effective labels affixed with large warnings about the dangers of the contents, as is done with cigarettes.

Early prevention of the development of diseases is a chance for their timely cure. In Russia there are good programs for medical examination, but their "PR" is very bad, as well as all the state propaganda given to the mistresses of deputy ministers. It is necessary from each box to correctly instill in our proud, but overly mortal men that doctors are avoided not by heroes, but by idiots. Everything in a person should be fine: the liver, the heart, the blood vessels, and the prostate.

Equalize men and women in the rights to their common children. A child is a very strong incentive to live and live with dignity, therefore, the same type of court decisions on "divorce" cases that are not based on anything other than women's solidarity are a direct blow to the future of Russia.

But it seems that nobody needs it. It is more convenient for Gauleiters to deal with insane old women who do not detach from TV screens.
