For a long time people have paid attention to a certain pattern in the course of human life. And according to ancient esoteric teachings, a person's entire life is divided into seven-year periods, each of which corresponds to one of the 12 signs of the zodiac. Thus, every seven years we go through a full cycle and live a life in miniature, dying and being reborn again. And according to these calculations, we are given 84 years of existence on Earth. It is clear that science for a long time did not take astrologers' calculations seriously. However, it turns out that there is no smoke without fire. Leading Researcher, Laboratory of Protein Biosynthesis Regulation, Institute of Biochemistry A. N. Bach of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Biological Sciences Alexander Malygin compiled a table of "mortality peaks", that is, the periods of life that are most dangerous for humans. The scientist concludedthat periods of increased vitality of the organism are inevitably followed by stages when life literally hangs in the balance …

Critical age

It began with the fact that in a laboratory population of mice, the scientist accidentally discovered a male with a growth retardation caused by an inherited mutation. He was crossed with a normal female, and they had offspring. Some of the cubs did not transmit the anomaly, and they developed normally, while others, who received the mutation gene from their parents, significantly lagged behind in development at the age of 15-30 days. This period of growth retardation was critical: one third of the rodents died for one reason or another between the ages of 25 and 35 days. The scientist decided to see what will happen next with this offspring and whether similar bursts of mortality will appear later. It turned out that on the 270-400th day of life, as well as on the 520-670th day, there were some more critical periods, albeit less clearly expressed.

Interested in this trend, observed in mice with a gene mutation, Alexander Malygin decided to continue his research and study the dangerous periods of life in ordinary rodents. It turned out that this pattern also applies to them, although it is not tracked so clearly.

Is this hypothesis true for humans? The scientist notes that there are no fundamental differences between life rhythms in humans and other biological species. Thus, the first peak in rodent mortality in terms of the age of Homo sapiens falls on 12-19 years. Another critical period corresponded approximately to the human 60 years. It is possible that such peaks of increased mortality may be associated with a weakening of the body's defense mechanisms. Since, like puberty, gestation and other physiological processes, mortality peaks are associated with age, the scientist suggested that they, too, could be programmed.

Wheel of life

But is life expectancy really a program written by someone? It is interesting that in the answer to this question the opinions of the representatives of official science and the “non-systemists” do not differ so much. It is curious, for example, that confirmation of the theory of peaks in mortality can be found in the annals of mainstream medicine. "12-19 years is the age of a significant surge in mortality associated with a change in a person and the transition from one state to another: from girl to girl, from boy to boy," notes a senior researcher at the Laboratory of Physicochemical Foundations of Biological Systems Regulation at the Institute of Biochemical Physics them. N. M. Emanuel RAS Alexander Khalyavkin. - During this period, the general resistance of the body changes sharply, the psychological attitudes of a growing person are restructured. By the age of 12-14 years, a number of body parameters (for example, the rate of its development, the power of the immune system), having reached the highest values, begin to decline."

Some regularities of the relationship between age and death can also be found in the statistics of hospitalized patients. “If you do not take accidents into account, but look at the big picture, then you can distinguish the following critical age periods: 22-27 years, 37-43 and 56-62,” notes the doctor on duty at the admission department of one of the capital's clinics, Candidate of Medical Sciences Alexander Morozov … - Basically, people at this age end up in the clinic through urgent hospitalization channels, that is, through the “ambulance”. Of course, most applicants do not die - they are provided with the necessary assistance, but if this had not happened, a fatal outcome would have been inevitable. As a rule, we are talking about sharply exacerbated chronic diseases or advanced cases of infectious diseases."

How to explain this cyclical nature? Physicians are inclined to believe that the physiological reasons are to blame for which the body "unclenches its fists" with some frequency. But esotericists are convinced that Samsara, the wheel of life, rotates according to this principle. And science today just gradually begins to realize what was known to the ancient sages. For example, for a long time, ideas about seven-year cycles of human life seemed to us like fairy tales. Indeed, in many fairy tales, the number seven is present directly or indirectly: a dead princess and seven heroes, seven Simeons, a seven-flowered flower. However, it has already been proven that in about seven years the cells of our body are completely renewed - and the next life cycle begins. The main differences in the issue of the cyclical nature of life are still only in details. Really, some esotericists talk about 7-year age cycles, while others believe that a person's life consists of 9-year cycles. But regardless of whether one life period lasts 7 or 9 years, each transition to the next cycle is critical, accompanied by serious shocks and a revision of values.

“The energy of a person’s experience accumulates with each new life cycle, and at the same time, his negative actions accumulate,” comments the psychologist-esoteric Svetlana Kachevskaya. - By the end of each cycle, the physical condition can really deteriorate, chronic diseases are exacerbated. At this time, a person finds himself in critical life situations. At the same time, the end of the next cycle is a sign to a person that he has already completed this period karmically, that he needs to move on. At this point, you should think about how to change something in your life: for example, leave for another job or move to a new place of residence. It is very important to notice what is happening and be able to take advantage of this chance."

What are our years

It remains unclear, perhaps, the main thing: why are the most critical periods in a person's life occurring at the age of 12-19 and 60 years? Esotericists explain it this way: at the age of 12-19, a person begins to take control of his life in his own hands, which is a very responsible task. During these years, a person is already intelligent and trained enough to solve many issues on his own, but he is still young and not aware of many things, he allows himself to get involved in karmas that he would try to avoid as an adult. Not everyone gets through this test.

And 60 is the age of revaluation. A person begins to think about completing his affairs. Most people at this age decide for themselves that they have lived enough, and stop holding on to life.

How will science answer this? “Our task for the near future is to find patterns associated with mortality peaks,” says Alexander Malygin. The researcher is sure that not death itself is programmed for these periods of life, but changes in the body's sensitivity to some destructive effects of the external environment. Understanding how this mechanism is arranged and works can open up prospects for programming life in the very near future. If we know in advance about the approach of the black bands, we can prepare for them in order to move to the next level with minimal losses - the light band. And the scientist also has no doubts that new knowledge will provide a chance to extend a person's life to a species maximum - about 105 years. Wait and see?..

Opinions

Ekaterina Nikonova, cardiologist, candidate of medical sciences:

- Of course, there is a correlation between age and mortality, but there is no reason to talk about any regularity of these values. Rather, mortality may be associated with an exacerbation of chronic diseases that tend to manifest by a certain age. I believe that the theory of certain life cycles, including the cycle of possible death, is closer to esotericism than to traditional medicine. It seems to me premature to talk about the scientific substantiation of such theories.

Vadim Shmakov, psychologist at the Healthy Generation Center:

- Such studies may be of certain interest from the point of view of science, but from the point of view of psychology they will become a time bomb. It is possible that people, realizing some peaks of death, approaching a dangerous period, will subconsciously wait for it. It is very important to recognize such negative fantasies and try to get rid of them, because it is known that by persistently introducing certain images into our own consciousness, we in one way or another contribute to their realization in reality. This happens because a person forms a certain image of himself, and, approaching this peak of mortality, he will begin to self-program to negative. After all, if you think that something is about to happen, you are consciously or unconsciously contributing to the implementation of the expected event.
