After a forest fire in Gabala in September last year, local residents accidentally found the skeleton of an unknown animal, experts have not yet expressed their opinion.
BAKU, June 6 - Sputnik, Ilham Akhmedov. The skeleton of an animal unusual for the local fauna was discovered in the Gabala region. The strangest thing about the find is the bones of the spine and the presence of only two limbs, regional correspondent Sputnik Azerbaijan reports.
The skeleton is one meter long. The paws of the animal are long, and the large sizes of the teeth are also affected.

The skeleton was discovered quite by accident after a fire that occurred in September last year in a forest in the village of Gyamarvan, Gabala region. The unprecedented find remains a mystery - the skeleton does not resemble any of the animals known in the local fauna.
True, experts have not yet examined the find. Only a village veterinarian said that despite his many years of experience working with animals, he had never seen such a strange skeleton.
In the meantime, the find is of great interest to villagers and not only them. Over the past year, many people have come to the village from different regions of the republic, including from Baku, to see and even buy a skeleton.
At present, the skeleton is kept in one of the Gabala recreation centers, being an entertaining exhibit for visiting tourists.
