A number of fans of alternative history seriously believe that people could have had a hand in creating the Black Sea. Some powerful civilization, about which science knows nothing. Or a huge reservoir could be created by representatives of extraterrestrial life forms. In other words, they are aliens.
Such strange conclusions made them draw the unusual structure of the bottom of the Black Sea.
Externally, the structure of the seabed resembles an open shaft with unusually flat terraces. Something similar can be seen in places where coal, metals, precious stones and valuable rocks are mined.
From the point of view of official science, this is an ancient natural depression formed in the Neogene period of the Cenozoic era 5.333 - 23.03 million years ago.
