A few days ago, a story thundered all over Australia about how a woman saw a huge "yovi" in New South Wales. This word is called the local Bigfoot (Yeti).

On March 5, 2018, a woman was returning from a game of cricket and was driving through the Uki region, in the Mount Jerusalem National Park.

After she stopped on the side of the road, as needed, a huge jovi came out of the thickets to her, more than 2 meters high with a monkey face and long arms. The woman did not have time to pull out the phone to take a photo, as the creature disappeared into the forest again.

When the story appeared on the Facebook page of the Australian Yowie Research (AYR), the locals left many comments, including that they had also seen the strange creature.

“I have been living in the Uki area for over 15 years. I also saw a huge hairy man in 2006. He literally wandered into the backyard of my house,”wrote one user.

“I am Aboriginal and am a female elder. I have lived here for over 4 years and I can say for sure that hairy humanoid creatures definitely live here. There are two types of them, some are short, others are huge. They are not aliens, they have always lived here,”writes another.

“I am also an aboriginal and I totally believe in this story. I grew up in this area we call Woodenbong. My grandfather, the oldest member of his tribe, often told me different stories about this Yovi. - another user writes.

Promotional video:

“Both Aboriginal people and white people live in my village, and in the 70s and 80s, white people saw yove and talked about it. Now I am over 50 years old and I am sure that this is not fiction and that Yovi really exists,”wrote another local resident.

In total, over three hundred comments were left to the message.

“Yes, Yovi exist and the natives know a lot about them. The Yovies just want to be respected and left alone. After all, this is their land, and we are only guests on it. I will not go into details about them, this may lead to the fact that one of the mad hunters wants to go and kill them for money, writes user Aaron Stone.

“The Yovies don't hurt anyone. When I was young, I saw one of them, "writes Penny Guyatt," They deserve respect, just like all other living things."

“I once camped in a tent in this park,” writes Simon Welch, “It was a quiet and isolated place, but at night I felt someone watching me. I have traveled all over Australia and have slept in the open air in many places, but have never experienced this before. This feeling scared me very much and I tried to get out of there as soon as possible."

“I have lived in this area all my life and have not seen anything like this myself, but my parents told me that even before my birth, one night they heard a strange rustle in their yard. They peered, but saw no one and went to sleep.

And the next morning they found that all the grass in the backyard was badly crushed, as if some very large animal was sleeping on it. In size, this creature should have been like a cow or even larger. But we have no cows nearby. And next to the big crumpled spot was a smaller spot, as if a smaller creature was sleeping there,”wrote user Justin Roser.
