This group of megalithic structures dates back to the third millennium BC. One of the most impressive archaeological sites in the area.
Its popular name is Teufelsbackofen, which in German means not much, not a little - a damn oven.
The place got its name thanks to the dolmen.
Legend has it that a long time ago a giant lived here and this "house", surrounded by a stone circle, was his stove.
The stone "corridor" located in the same glade is called the tomb of this giant.
An interesting legend, complemented by the appearance and size of stones surrounded by a mystical forest, very reminiscent of illustrations for fairy tales, has been stirring people's minds for more than a century.
