In 1976, a young candidate of sciences Vladimir Kovtun announced that, in his opinion, the pharaohs of Ancient Egypt knew the secret of longevity. It turns out that they had an amazing device that healed literally all diseases - a special kind of metal cylinders.

Vladimir Kovtun became interested in ancient Egypt in his youth. He really liked going to the museum and looking at the exhibits exhibited there. But most of all he was interested in one question: why are the pharaohs holding something in their hands? What could it be? It does not look like papyrus tubes, nor does it look like round cylindrical seals. And why in both hands?
Once his friend Ruslan Dobrovolsky said that he had accidentally found an amazing esoteric text in the Caucasus. It spoke about the summoning of spirits and the secrets of magic, and at the same time about the secrets of Ancient Egypt. Of course, Kovtun immediately decided to see what was written about Egypt. On one page was a drawing of a man with two cylinders in his hands and a captivating heading: "A Method" Used in Ancient Egypt to Strengthen Energy Flows. " Kovtun immediately realized that these were the very strange objects in the hands of the pharaohs. Hence, this is an ancient medical device for healing.

Comte Stefan Walewski wrote his work in 1920, after his visit to the Caucasus. Walewski was a well-known collector and antiques dealer in America. From various remote places, he brought to the States all sorts of wonders, for which there was no end of buyers. Howard Carter had not yet opened the tomb of Tutankhamun, and Kont Valevsky had already brought the Egyptian secret of the Avar esotericists from the Caucasus Mountains.
It was to a meeting with the descendants of the Avar magicians that he then left the prosperous America for a country engulfed in civil war. The meeting turned out to be productive, Walewski wrote down many mystical stories. After his death, in 1955, the same book was published, the Russian text of which was found by Dobrovolsky. Who exactly was Valevsky is not known for certain - either a native of the Caucasus, or a Pole. By and large, there was not a word about the Egyptians in Walewski's book. But where there is magic, there are the ancient Egyptians, where the Egyptians are, there are pharaohs. Kovtun and his associates experimented with different fillers and got their own "pharaoh's top hats". These things had nothing to do with Egypt or the pharaohs. But what, then, are the pharaohs actually holding in their hands?
A rod for every occasion
Wands, scepters, false beard, necklace-collar, diadem with uraeus, special kind of striped shawl (claft) and crown - these are the symbols of the pharaoh's power. Without them, he did not appear in public. By the way, the pharaohs had several crowns. White, like a pin, is the crown of Upper Egypt. Red in the form of a cylinder - the crown of Lower Egypt. Double - the crown of the united power. Blue helmet with sun discs - military. The pharaohs' hands were also always busy - the necessary ritual artifacts that were supplied to the rulers of Egypt are innumerable.
Egyptologists know exactly what the pharaohs must hold in their hands. There are no "longevity cylinders" among these items. As a rule, the pharaoh held in his hands any of the wands - for each ceremony, the one that was necessary was used.
The mummy of the pharaoh in the tomb was supplied with two rods - a hek or heket (looked like a rod with a hook) and neheku (looked like a rod with a three-tailed whip). It was with these artifacts that Tutankhamun was buried. His arms were crossed on his chest in the form of an oblique cross, and symbols of power were placed in his palms.
