Antarctica is the white region of our planet, with a lot of ice and a climate too harsh for humans. Yet this white, snow-covered mass is theorized to hide some of the world's darkest mysteries. Every day, this place and its secrets are researched by cyber-hierarchs in search of traces of aliens or secret Nazi bases.
Antarctica has long been home to many mysteries. On the one hand, we have the incident of the American Operation High Jump. In 1946, an entire expeditionary fleet led by Admiral Byrd set out to conquer the mysterious lands of Antarctica and … returned with nothing.
Many theorists believe that some 250,000 senior officers belonging to the Nazi party at the end of World War II were able to escape by submarine from Germany and take refuge somewhere in the South Pole. Some say with confidence that Hitler was one of the fugitives who took up comfortable refuge.
But if these people really fled during a war that attracted the attention of the whole world, where would they have fled? Some say it should be Argentina, but is it really so? After all, 250,000 people cannot be hidden in plain sight of one country where such a population growth would be immediately visible.
Secret bases hidden in Antarctica
According to some theories, the Nazis were building powerful weapons at their secret base in Antarctica. Technological weapons are far ahead of their time, perhaps thanks to the intervention of aliens.

Conjecture can seem far-fetched until you think about what was planned shortly before the end of World War II. The United States made the decision to make a huge expedition to Antarctica while the war was still going on. The invasion expedition is known as Operation Highjump and is not news today, but it was kept secret for a while.
Perhaps more surprising is the number of US personnel and equipment on this expedition. In fact, they went to places where they were not officially expected to meet with large enemy groups, except perhaps with Nazi bases.
However, nearly 5,000 American troops, led by retired Rear Admiral Richard Byrd, went on the expedition in dozens of aircraft and ships. The overall command of Task Force 68 was Rear Admiral Richard Krusen, and it was indeed an expeditionary invasion operation.

No other American or other expedition to Antarctica has been as large-scale and armed, with the means of supporting firefighting. Even if the Pentagon had a desire to take control of this harsh place, what could be special about an invasion there?
In any case, it remained to wait for the return of the retired Rear Admiral Byrd, who knew much more about the pole than others. The intriguing expedition was supposed to last 6-9 months. But after just a couple of months, the expedition suddenly ended with the death of people and the loss of equipment.
The main goal of the expedition was called the organization of the Antarctic research station "Little America IV". However, the early arrival of the Antarctic winter in February 1947 broke all the plans of the Americans for the development of these lands, and they never returned to this.
According to experts in conspiracy theory, the collapse of the expedition had nothing to do with the cold. And the operation High Jump itself, with such a huge number and completely military composition, was too large for the creation of an Antarctic station.
Many conspiracy theorists today believe that the US military has been hit by artillery fire, forcing them to retreat after heavy casualties. If you trust the references of the expedition members, then they had no chance of winning - it was a massacre.
Ships, submarines, carrier-based aircraft of the American military could do nothing, so rapidly they were attacked by flying saucers "Vril". Strange flying machines jumped straight out of the water and attacked with fireballs. Then they dived again under the water to jump out elsewhere. According to the conspiracy theorists, Nazi scientists managed to obtain prototypes of the ancient astronauts' mercury "vimans" in the secret shelters of Antarctica.

Let's say it wasn't true. But who was behind these UFOs? Could it be Germans or aliens? One thing is obvious, it seems that there was someone else in Antarctica besides the Germans and Americans.
Antarctic mysteries, captive angels
Speaking of aliens, we have no authoritative arguments, but the more Antarctica is explored, the more mysteries arise.
