A frightening mystical story took place in the process of searching for Emanuela Orlandi, a 15-year-old Italian girl who disappeared back in 1983 and who has been unsuccessfully searched for by her family all this time.
Emanuela was the daughter of a staff member of the Pope's office and disappeared on her way to the Lyceum. The disappearance of the teenager then put the whole district on the ears. They searched for the girl for a long time and carefully, but all was unsuccessful.
There was also a suspect in her abduction and murder. Then they were considered Mehmet Ali Agca, who, being a terrorist's comrade-in-arms, committed an attempt on the life of John Paul II, as well as on members of the Italian mafia. However, it was not possible to prove his guilt and the story ended there. Until 2019.
This spring, her relatives received a strange letter from an unknown person. In it, he wrote that the remains of Orlanda were buried in the Teutonic cemetery, and to find the grave was easier, he gave some guidelines.
In particular, he said that the corpse is next to the statue of the angel depicted with the book.
However, the opening of the graves, which, according to documentary records, belonged to German princesses, shocked everyone who was present at the exhumation. The graves were empty.
They did not contain Sophia von Hohenlohe, who died in 1836, or Carlotta Federica of Mecklenburg, who was buried in 1840. Nor were Emanuela's remains.
According to the representative of the Holy See, Alessandro Gizotti, the Vatican has made a decision on its own detailed study of the disappearance of the remains of German princesses. As well as continuing searches for the whereabouts of Ordlandi.
