In the late 20th century, a stunning archaeological discovery was made on the Altiplano high plateau in Bolivia. Scientists have discovered the remains of an ancient civilization there, never mentioned in historical documents. Artifacts of a mysterious purpose were found at the excavation site: the skeletons of huge people (2.7 m) with elongated skulls. Scientists have made the assumption that the lost civilization has a connection with the mythical country "Mu".
In 1996, a group of archaeologists, exploring the territory of the plateau, discovered a placer of strange stones, from which even time has not erased the traces of processing with perfect tools. Among the stones lay the remains of tree trunks, sawn and split. Scientists for several days carefully examined the mysterious finds and came to the conclusion that what was discovered are traces of large settlements of unknown origin, destroyed by an incomprehensible force.
Immediately starting to excavate, archaeologists were more and more surprised. The objects that rested under the pile of stones were so technologically advanced that one could safely speak of their belonging to an unknown "advanced" civilization. A consultation with geologists gave such an assumption - ancient settlements were destroyed about 4 thousand years ago by a huge meteorite. The fall took place in the Campo del Cielo area, which is 250 km away from the destroyed ancient settlements (the scale of the catastrophe corresponds to the explosion of several atomic bombs). Whole cities were wiped off the face of the earth, along with the ancient inhabitants. All that remains of a mysterious civilization are stone objects of a lost culture. They are extremely carefully processed - polished and covered with various patterns. Black stone masks are most strikingdecorated with turquoise inlays. And also stone flutes and smoking pipes, the ornaments on which resemble the drawings published in the book by Colonel of the British Army James Churchward "The Vanished Continent of Mu", published in 1931.
The colonel in the book recounted an incredible story told to him by an Indian monk, a member of the secret school "Nikal", which arose 70 thousand years ago in the ancient state of "Mu". It was a blessed land in the Pacific Ocean with a population of 64 million.
In the Tibetan "Chronicle of Lhasa", found by Heinrich Schliemann, it is written that in this country "rich people adorned themselves with fine garments and amazing precious stones." The perfect power was destroyed as a result of a powerful natural cataclysm.

Finally, the surface of the earth broke down and ten countries were torn apart and scattered. They sank with 64 million people 8060 years before this book is written.
This manuscript is approximately 3,000 years old. This means that "My" disappeared 11 thousand years ago. Apparently, the inhabitants of "Mu" possessed special knowledge, including the secret of immortality. After all, a monk who miraculously survived the catastrophe was able to survive to this day and tell the story of his people to the English colonel.

In the book by James Churchward, there is no concrete evidence of the existence of a strange monk and an ancient mighty power. Skeptics considered his book a fantasy novel. But it looks like the find on the plateau is real proof of the existence of an ancient civilization.
The fact is that, according to Colonel Churchward's theory, the Mu culture has spread to all continents. Ornaments similar to those found on the Altiplano plateau were discovered by William Niven in the early 20th century during excavations in Mexico City. In 1985, Professor Masaki Kimura discovered stepped pyramids 180 meters wide and 80 meters high near Yonanguni Island. Their age is up to 10 thousand years and the signs inscribed on stone slabs are also identical to the images given in the colonel's book, fragments of ornaments on tables from the excavations of William Niven, as well as artifacts of the Altiplano plateau.
Another amazing find of the Bolivian plateau is the flute, absolutely unique and incomprehensible not only in manufacturing technology, but also in their functions. Along with the ornaments, they have precisely drilled holes. These holes are made so carefully that it is completely incomprehensible how the ancient craftsmen managed to drill them in hard stone several thousand years ago.
A professional musician in 2001 tried to extract sounds from this ancient instrument. After numerous unsuccessful attempts, he blew with all his might - and the pipe began to sing, but in a very strange voice! The sound range of this instrument did not correspond to any of the known existing scales, but the frequency of sounds coincided with the biocurrents of the human brain. Art critics came to the conclusion that the instrument had some mysterious purpose and that the musician playing the flute had a huge lung capacity and, quite possibly, was a giant.
The fact that huge people lived in these settlements is also confirmed by skeletons discovered near the place where strange stone pipes were excavated. The restoration of bones made it possible to determine the height of these ancient inhabitants - about 2.5-2.7 meters!
The dimensions of the masks found in the excavations also indirectly confirm that their creators were giants. The eye holes in the masks are set too wide to fit modern people. The giants also had an unusual oblong skull shape, but this was not an artificial deformation.
Maybe the ancient inhabitants of the plateau were the "gods" described by Erich von Daniken in his version of the origin of civilization on Earth? He believed that there were ancient "gods" who were representatives of an alien civilization, with an elongated head and enormous growth. But, apparently, even the gods are not immune from a planetary catastrophe.
