Throughout known history, there have been reports of paranormal sightings, shamanism, mysticism, and invisibility. Often speaking of possibilities beyond reality, it has been stated how practitioners of witchcraft become invisible, materialize, dematerialize, or teleport.
Many supernatural or unexplained phenomena happen near us, and have absolutely nothing to do with magic spells. Sometimes people suddenly and inexplicably become invisible right in their own homes, at parties, and even in shops full of witnesses. The mysterious phenomenon of invisibility goes beyond the laws of physics, but it shows that people somehow transcend the boundaries of three-dimensional space.
American researcher and writer Donna Higby was the first to study the curious phenomenon in 1994. Donna has contacted dozens of victims of spontaneous invisibility in the United States, Britain, Europe, Australia, Puerto Rico, and Brazil. After collecting a catalog of mysterious stories, she sought the opinion of scientists in an attempt to find answers to these extremely rare and strange cases.
One of the first cases discovered was that of Melanie, a resident of Ventura, California. A woman became a "victim" of a mysterious phenomenon, sitting on the sofa in her living room and looking thoughtfully at the wall. After some time, the anxious husband examined all the rooms of the house, but passing in front of his wife did not discover her presence.
The incident lasted about ten minutes, during which time the man was calling his wife. Finally the woman was visible again, to the surprise of her husband, who was convinced that she was hiding from him. The man completely denied his wife's version that she was just sitting on the couch.
This is just one of many cases that Donna has investigated over the years. The phenomenon shows how people suddenly and unexpectedly become invisible, but they themselves do not notice it.
They live and move absolutely normally, as if nothing special had happened at that moment and the time had not changed. However, other people do not see them - they simply became invisible in our reality.

In 1987 parapsychologist and professor Erlendur Haraldsson spoke with followers of the religious leader Sathya Sai Baba, India. According to them, Sai Baba disappeared several times before their eyes and then reappeared at the top of a nearby hill.

Between 700 and 300 BC era in India, a secret doctrine called the Upanishads appeared. Patanjali, the author of the Yoga Sutras, tried to explain the process by which the body ceases to be visible. According to him, a person can become invisible to others through concentration and meditation. The process is associated with the transition to a "higher state of vibration", which separates millions of invisible, immaterial and inexplicable spirits from our world.
Australian aborigines, archaic peoples of North and South America, tribes inhabiting lands near the Arctic Circle knew magic rituals associated with the phenomenon of invisibility, practiced by local shamans.
Since the thirteenth century, texts appeared on the continent that reproduced the ability of magicians and sorcerers to become invisible to others.
Spencer Lewis, author of numerous esoteric books and founder of the Rosicrucian Order of AMORC in New York in 1915, believed that invisibility could be achieved through a secret practice called the Invisibility Ritual. Helena Blavatsky repeatedly performed this ritual in the presence of numerous witnesses, however, this remains unconfirmed by the words of her adherents.
It is clear that the involuntary spontaneous invisibility of a person is one of the most mysterious and inexplicable phenomena of history. Anyone can become a victim of the phenomenon at any time. A person in this state can interact with others, but we understand that we have no way to see or hear invisibility.
