Travel in time … How many promising options for the development of future events draws us from the playing imagination. Today, not only and not so much only frivolous dreamers or seasoned science fiction writers talk about the imminent reality of such voyages. More and more often, official scientists began to declare the inevitability of temporary displacements in the very near future.

How will these travels be carried out? The majority of experts believe that with the help of some technical devices, similar to that described by H. G. Wells in his novel "The Time Machine". That is, special machines or mechanical devices will be created that will make it possible to easily move along the chronal flow in the forward (to the future) or reverse (to the past) directions.

And then there are already disputes whether the crew of such a machine will be able to participate in past or future events, or whether it will act only as passive observers. But this, as they say, is another story. Or rather, theory. And not even theory, but theories. By the way, according to one of them, some of the UFOs we observe are time machines from the future, on which our descendants fly to see how certain significant events took place. For example, man-made and natural disasters, military clashes or political collisions.

But there are other theories, according to which it is not at all necessary for a person to use technical devices for chronal sounding. Nature has already taken care of everything, providing us with the appropriate organ. And this organ is the pineal gland, the pineal gland, or the so-called third eye.

Wow, the reader will say! So why, then, do we not travel through time using this very third eye? And who said that we are not traveling? Yes, not all! Yes, this is not always possible! But if special conditions are observed and special practices are performed, it is most easy to monitor events of the relatively recent past. With the future, everything is somewhat more complicated, since it has not yet arrived, which means it is multivariate. It is this multivariance that complicates the chronal probing of the future.

But one of the practices that make it relatively easy to probe the past is the so-called village magic. In most of the very old Russian villages and villages, which are more than 120-150 years old, the method of finding and exposing a thief or thieves with the help of a witch grandmother and a teenage boy is still preserved. My father's mother, grandmother Evdokia, told me about one such case.

One day, shortly after the war, several laying hens disappeared from her neighbors. And before that, their owner noticed that on some days there were no eggs in the nests in the barn. And then the loss of the chickens themselves! We were there in the evening, but not in the morning. Of course, people were upset, because in the post-war village, laying hens were the same breadwinners for the family, like a cow or a goat.

We ran around the neighbors, asked questions. But nobody saw or heard anything. Apparently, the thieves worked very late at night. And now someone advised the victims to turn to the old woman Efrosinya for help, they say, only she can help find the villains. She supposedly knows how to do it and knows how to act.

There is nothing to do, the robbed husband and wife went to bow to the witch. She did not refuse, asked only to find and bring to her a not very adult boy, nine or ten years old, no older. Such a boy was found only in a neighboring village and somehow persuaded his parents to let him go for a while.

And then, according to the victim herself, who was present at the unusual session, this is what happened. Efrosinya tightly hung the windows in the hut so that it was twilight, because everything happened during the day. She put a large deep cup on the table, filled to the brim with fresh well water, asked the boy to sit down at the table and carefully look at the water. She herself began to recite in an undertone by heart a certain conspiracy-prayer and walk around the table, now one way or the other. The text was being read faster and faster, turning into a mournful muttering.

Minutes passed one by one, but nothing much happened. Then the boy suddenly shuddered and leaned more over the bowl, as if he saw something on the surface of the water. Efrosinya signaled to the victim to be silent, while she herself continued strange muttering and whirling around the table.

Finally, the boy staggered back from the table and sighed wearily, looking at those around him in surprise. Sweat covered his forehead. The witch quickly leaned over to him and tenderly asked him to tell about what he had just seen. The boy, hurrying and stumbling, described what he saw. From his words, it turned out that two, a man and a woman, first stole chicken eggs in someone's shed, and then the man took one of the hens, twisting their necks and putting them in a sack.

After that, the boy, again at the request of grandmother Efrosinya, described in such detail the appearance of both men and women, their clothes, gait, that the victim just gasped. Only one couple from the next street fit such a detailed description, a woman and her alcoholic husband, who served at one time for desertion from the army.
