This story happened to a resident of the United States Stephanie Arnold. Stephanie and her husband Jonothan have three children, and in 2012 she was just pregnant with her third child and was looking forward to giving birth.
But in the 20th week of pregnancy, Stephanie had a bad dream in which she died in the hospital in childbirth. Stephanie was sure that the dream was prophetic and told all her acquaintances and friends about it.
“Every time someone asked me how I was doing with my pregnancy, I replied that I would die on the day of my birth and that I had already written farewell letters to all my friends and I was just waiting for that day to come.” - says Stephanie.
In this dream, Stephanie saw in detail how she would die. This will happen when she has complications, then they will begin to do a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus), but severe bleeding will open and she will be given general anesthesia, from which she will not come out. The child will survive this.
At the 32th week of pregnancy, Stephanie told her doctor about the prophetic dream, and then he suggested that she talk to the anesthesiologist, thinking that the woman was just nervous and would help her when she found out how the childbirth would go and how the nurses would behave.
The anesthesiologist listened to a similar story by Stephanie and, as it turned out later, took it into account. She decided to prepare for a similar outcome of labor and stocked up on more donated blood and installed a resuscitation cart in the operating room.
In May 2013, Stephanie started having contractions and they decided to have a caesarean. However, when the child (boy) was safely pulled out, Stephanie … died.

Everything was not like in her dream, she died not from anesthesia, but from an allergic reaction to the amniotic fluid that got from the amniotic fluid into her blood. This is a very rare condition, occurring in 1 case in 40 thousand.
Due to an allergic reaction, renal failure occurred, and the blood began to coagulate intensely and began to clog the vessels. During the resuscitation process, Stephanie's uterus was urgently removed and a transfusion began. The blood supply and the reanimation cart also helped. However, Stephanie did not get better and at some point her heart completely stopped.
And then the most unusual thing began. Later, Stephanie will call her book “37 seconds”, this is the time she spent in a state of clinical death. And during this time, Stephanie met “there” with a little boy who turned out to be the brother of her best friend Megan. The brother died at the age of 7.

And then the doctors managed to start Stephanie's heart with a defibrillator, she came to her senses and never died. When she got better, she called her friend Megan and told her everything. She burst into tears and hung up in a fit of feelings, but then called back and said that she combed her brother's hair every night before going to bed. After that he fell asleep more calmly.
Then Stephanie said that during her clinical death she saw "from above" everything that doctors and nurses did with her body. Then she saw her child in the next room, and then her husband, who at that time just flew in by plane from another city.
Anesthesiologist Nicole Higgins says that Stephanie's warning saved her life, because after her words, she checked the defibrillator on the resuscitation cart and it turned out to be faulty, so it was immediately replaced. If not for this, Stephanie's heart probably would not have been able to start again after stopping.
Stephanie herself believes that the prophetic dream was shown to her so that she correctly prepared for her "death" and avoided it. She was given a second chance and now she feels that she herself must inspire other people and give them faith.
