A terrible incident happened on the grounds of the South Main Chapel Church in Anderson County, South Carolina. During the sermon, the people who came to her first noticed a young girl nearby, and then heard loud cries from the other side.
The incident is reported by WYFF News 4 and other media. Elizabeth Hayotte, who works in the church, ran out first and saw a girl next to a railroad track. Approaching closer, Elizabeth froze in horror, one of the girl's eyes was ripped out with meat and hung from the socket.
Elizabeth immediately called 911, although she thought that they would think it was a joke, because it was all completely insane, but the call was accepted. But while the doctors arrived, the girl pulled out her other eye with her bare hands. Moreover, when the medical workers wanted to take the girl away, she began to violently resist and only four people managed to take her away.
Former priest Terry Mitchell, who was among those who helped to take the girl away, says that she herself came to this place on purpose to mutilate herself. He said that the girl is 19 years old and she was very aggressive.
The victim was eventually airlifted to a local hospital. There, her condition is assessed as stable.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Hyott told reporters that she had seen this girl before, she occasionally came to church to preach. It is possible that she mentioned her name, but it is not indicated anywhere in the press.
