Ramappa is a temple located in the village of Palampet and it is removed from the popular Warangal about which I already wrote, about 70 kilometers.

Of course, almost all ancient temples in India look like some kind of miracle, but there is something unique about this, I will talk about this a little later. Before that, it is worth going through the main elements of the architecture.

The first feature is the platform. The temple stands on a platform, two meters high, and most importantly, the platform consists of light blocks that do not sink in water.

But given all the uniqueness of the ancient objects of India, this is a trifle. Let's start with the monolithic columns, which I especially like to mark wherever they really deserve it.

The columns, both outside and inside, are impressive in their appearance, they were made, as I said, monolithic, supposedly cutting everything by hand. Most of the columns have complex elements, regular geometric shapes and various patterns, which rather suggest perfect technologies that are not yet available to us.

By the way, the temple itself is quite large, there are not so many of them in India. Now, as for the bas-reliefs, as elsewhere, they were allegedly "cut out" in huge numbers. These are a variety of images of deities, unknown figures, creatures, ornaments, patterns, in general, which is not there.

But the most important feature of some bas-reliefs is sound. A well-known Indian researcher (I will leave a link to the video) has clearly shown how figures can sound from being hit on them.

And the most amazing thing is that one figure sounds differently at separate points and places. Moreover, in this way you can even make some kind of melody, since all this was done in the past as if from notes, it would seem, on ordinary bas-reliefs.

And now the question - "If you manually cut something in the walls and in ordinary material, will a different sound suddenly appear at points that are close to each other?" The answer to the question is obvious, and many other objects have proved it, the sound will be the same everywhere.

I bring this to the fact that ancient civilizations used unknown technologies to give musical properties to certain elements in the so-called temple.

But here I would like to say that this is not the only case of musical sounds. Much proves that in the past they possessed such technologies, but did not particularly extend musical properties to all elements of the architecture of various structures.

As an example, the Vittala temple I don't remember the name anymore, but in India I know another temple where you can hear unique musical sounds with small strikes on the columns and bas-reliefs.

To be honest, it's hard for me to even think of why they did this. This is just the case when we simply do not understand, because we do not know what happened in the past. But the fact is that it was done, and how, it is impossible to explain.

By the way, scientists tried to explain the musical properties of the columns in the Vittala temple, but everything was unsuccessful, for us so far these are inaccessible possibilities. And as for the bas-reliefs in this temple, the majority do not really know about their properties.

I advise you to watch the video, at least the beginning, in order to understand what the article is about.

Since words without the sound itself are not quite what you need. And by the way, the temple is actually not the most popular, but its appearance is clearly impressive.
