Popov Bridge is located near the village of Korenevo village in the Kaluga region. His legend began a hundred years ago: a drunken priest was driving across a bridge, turned off it and drowned. Many villagers say that there is something "unclean" on the Popov Bridge.
Local residents from the nearby villages of Uleml and Korenevo believe that what is happening is connected with a curse once imposed by a local witch, or with a nearby cemetery.
Anything has happened over the century: either a ghost-daddy sits in the cab of a truck, then a trio of horses follows the company of late travelers (and there is not a single team left in the area), then cold water boils in a canister on the trunk of a motorcycle. And to get lost in the vicinity of the bridge or to see the lights wandering there - what a glass of water to drink. Although not every day, of course, this happens. And not every week.
For example, motors stall on Popov Most - infrequently, but systematically, moreover, usually at night. Once the TV crew came here to shoot a plot, so the Japanese camera immediately went out of order. True, she soon "changed her mind" and started working - regularly, until the end of filming.
In May-June 1997, during the expeditions of V. Chernobrov and A. Perepelitsyn ("Cosmopoisk") to search for a large meteorite in these places, a mass survey of the population was carried out, which revealed at least a dozen people who noticed various strange visions on the bridge or heard not less strange sounds.
So, the local librarian said that she met on the Popov Bridge "an amazing dog with a huge bow", running completely silently, "like in a dream."

Here, a characteristic property of the phenomena taking place on the Popov Bridge is noted - they are seen or heard by several people at once, that is, the perceptions of "unbelievability" here are of a collective nature. Needless to say, there are no plausible explanations for what is happening on the bridge.
By the way, it looks very ordinary: it is a concrete pipe under a well-worn rural road, through which a small river Pesochnya flows. The place is quiet and calm. In summer, children love to swim here.
