Video: CORAL CASTLE VISIT (Mike Haduck) 2024, May
Anonim

To this day, scientists are struggling to solve the mystery of the builders of the pyramids. Despite a large number of hypotheses, no one has been able to find an exact answer to the question: how did the huge stone blocks rise to great heights without using any mechanisms and were laid there with high accuracy, forming a pyramid?

However, what the scientists did not succeed in turned out to be within the power of a native of Latvia, Edward Lidskalninsh, who had only four classes of a rural school behind him.

Leedskapninsh not only solved this centuries-old riddle, but was also able to apply the knowledge gained in practice. Completely alone, without assistants, without using any mechanisms, for twenty years (from 1920 to 1940) Edward erected his Coral Castle. Carefully guarding his opening from prying eyes, he worked only at night. And after his death he did not leave any records that reveal the secret of construction.

The total weight of the castle, which resembles the dwelling of fabulous giants, is twice the weight of the Cheops pyramid. Today, this grandiose structure, located in South Florida, is a unique monument and, on full grounds, is considered one of the wonders of the world. We call it Coral Castle, and the creator himself gave it the name Stone Gate Park.

Against the background of the excitement around the stunning discovery, for some reason, few people remember that the castle is not just an amazing architectural monument, but also a monument to love for a woman, love for a lifetime.

MONUMENT OF INDIVIDUAL LOVE

How did Edward come up with the idea to create the Coral Castle? According to one of the legends that overgrown the name of Edward Leedskalninsh, the impetus for this decision was unrequited love.

At the end of the 19th century, in August 1887, the future castle builder was born in Latvia. There is no information about his childhood and youth. Therefore, for us, his story begins at the time when Edward was 26 years old. It was then that a deep and unique love for a 16-year-old girl named Agnes Scaffs arose in his life.

The young people were engaged, and it was going to the wedding. But shortly before the joyful event, Agnes broke off the engagement, citing the fact that the groom is too old and poor for her. The girl was firm in her decision and was sure that the hereditary stonecutter was not her match. She later married a successful doctor and bore him three sons.

Edward loved Agnes more than anything else. The loss of his beloved was a real grief for him. Shocked by the misfortune that befell him, he decided to leave his native place and leave as far as possible from there, where everything reminded him of the recent tragedy. At that time, various amazing stories were told about America: as if it was a country of unlimited possibilities and the best place to start a new life. And Edward Leedskapninsh went to America - not for a dream, but out of a dream.

At first he lived and worked in Canada, then he moved to California, and from there to Texas. He had to work a lot as a lumberjack, a cattle driver. It was in those places that he began to develop a progressive form of tuberculosis, so in 1920 Leedskalninsh moved to the west coast of Florida, whose climate was perfect for his health.

There he bought 10 acres of land with his small savings and began to erect a strange structure - a fairytale castle for his dear Agnes, embodying in stone the dream of a home and family, which he never had.

A TALE ABOUT THE GREATS

Edward Lidskalninsh delivered stones for the construction from the coast. How he did it, until now, no one knows, on this score there are only guesses and hypotheses. After all, the creator of the Coral Castle was short: only 152 cm with a weight of 45 kg, besides, he was not very healthy. Nevertheless, the total weight of the structure is more than 1,100 tons and it is located on an area of 40 hectares.

The castle itself is surrounded by high walls, built of blocks weighing 50 tons each, some of them reaching 2.5 m in height, 1.5 m in width and more than 1 m in thickness. The blocks are laid without cement and fitted together, like in the Egyptian pyramids.

To get to the territory of the castle, you need to go through a giant door, which is a 9-ton stone block. The door is mounted on an iron rod passing through a hole hollowed out along the entire length of the stone. Bearings are located below and above, so that it acts like a spinner.

Drilling such a hole in the stone with a length of 3 m and a diameter of 5 cm today is possible only with the help of a laser. The door mechanism is so well balanced that it opens with a slight push on the edge. When the bottom bearing failed in 1986, it took a 50-ton crane and a dozen workers to replace it.

It is rather difficult to call the coral castle a dwelling, since there is only one room with a roof - in fact, Edward Leedskalninsh lived in it until his last day. On the territory of the castle there are huge stone figures of a bizarre shape, among which there are Saturn, Mars, a crescent weighing 30 tons, with a horn pointing at the North Star. A rainwater pool has been built underground.

The sundial, created by Edward, still keeps accurate time. What else is there in the castle? Two-storey square tower weighing 243 tons; an open-air children's room furnished with figurines of fairy-tale characters; a matrimonial bedroom with a huge coral bed and matching rocking chairs; a room for Agnes's mother and even a throne room with two monumental thrones. In the center of this room is a heart-shaped throne with a rose carved in stone. He is called the world's largest valentine.

HE SINGING SONGS TO HIS STONES

So the construction took 20 years. Edward diligently avoided any communication with neighbors and did not let them into his territory, for which he received the nickname Sullen Ed. He always worked alone and only under cover of night. The master mined multi-ton stones on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, processed and installed them at his discretion. How he succeeded is still a mystery.

The tools he used for the construction were the most common ones: a chisel, pickaxe, shovel, hammer. But Edward did not buy them either, but made himself from car parts found at the junkyard. Those who call themselves eyewitnesses told: supposedly in order to split the stone, Ed pounded a hole in it and put old car shock absorbers there, heated them, and then poured ice water, and in these places the stone broke. But according to the laws of physics, hot iron decreases in volume when cooled, which means that it will not be able to destroy the stone.

One day, near Ed's estate, construction began on a two-story villa. And he decided to move the castle to another place - 16 km to the south. The truck driver whom Ed hired to transport the stone structures said that while loading and unloading, the owner of the castle asked him to leave. To the too intrusive questions of the curious how he manages to move the stones, the master replied that he had solved the secret of the builders of the pyramids.

One of Ed's neighbors assured her that she had seen him touching the stone with his hands and making some strange sounds like a song. And the neighbour's children with the help of a night vision device watched the huge stone blocks that easily moved through the air like balloons.

In total, for the construction of the castle, Edward mined, processed, transported and installed about 1,000 tons of boulders. Nobody knows how he did it. There are many assumptions, but none of them have practical confirmation.

PHYSICS OR Sorcery?

The author of the book about the Coral Castle, Ray Stoner, is sure that Edward found the answer to the secret of the pyramid builders and possessed the secret of antigravity. According to his theory, the Earth is covered by a huge energy network, consisting of lines of force, and where they intersect, the internal energy of the planet accumulates, allowing objects to move in space and time.

According to Stoner, Ed built his castle in such a place that helped him overcome the force of gravity and make the stones levitate. The author of the book explains the movement of the castle to another place by the mistakes of the master in the initial calculations.

There is another version that does not contradict Stoner's hypothesis. Some researchers believe that Edward Leedskalninsh chose the site of the UFO landing as the site for the construction of the castle. The astronomical feature of the castle structures suggests this idea. Perhaps for this reason, construction was carried out at night and was shrouded in a veil of secrecy. Adherents of the alien version suggest that communication with other worlds could be made from the castle, and this possibility has survived to this day.

The next version appeared when a strange device was found in the castle, according to scientists, resembling a direct current generator. It is a rather large and complex structure, consisting of many metal parts and 60 magnets built in layer by layer and filled with cement mortar. One can only guess about the purpose of this device.

From the scraps of Ed's notes preserved after his death, it is clear that the inventor conducted several experiments, the results of which contradict the laws of traditional physics. Edward was convinced that magnets have particles smaller in size than light particles - photons, and their movement can create a magnetic field that holds all cosmic matter together.

He believed that he had invented a magnetic current generator powered by the energy of the ether, and even tried to patent the invention. But how is electricity and the movement of huge boulders related? Perhaps, by means of the wires coming from the generator, Edward, with the help of a certain wave, influenced the stones, after which the blocks significantly lost mass and moved freely through the air.

While scientists are trying to find a solution to the mystery of the Gloomy Ed, the castle is visited by tourists from all over the world, experiencing incredible sensations there that are akin to enlightenment or insight. Some people feel rejuvenated after visiting the castle. There are cases when people developed photographic films taken there and found glowing balls on them, which moved after visitors to the castle.

P. S

In the 1980s of the XX century, tourists from Latvia, having visited the Coral Castle, brought a personal invitation to visit the castle for Agnes Skaff (who was already 83 at that time). However, having abandoned Edward in her youth, Agnes did not want to hear about him in old age.
