Contrary to popular belief, not all NDEs are created equal. Many people see tunnels of light, some communicate with their relatives, others see certain creatures that forbid going further and send them back into our lives.

Researcher Kevin Williams analyzed fifty such cases and published his results on the Afterlife website. Williams admits that his research is not scientific, but it does provide an interesting insight into this "experience."

A feeling of boundless love

In 69% of cases, people experience irresistible love. In some cases, this feeling comes from everything around, in other cases it comes from the creatures that people meet there. Sometimes they appear as religious figures (see "God" below) or indescribable beings of light, and sometimes they take the form of previously deceased relatives.

Mental telepathy

The ability to communicate with people or objects through their mind and telepathy was reported in 65% of cases. In other words, the communication was non-verbal and seemed to take place at the level of consciousness rather than physically.

Life overview

This phenomenon was prevalent in 62% of cases. While some have seen their lives from the beginning to the end, others have seen them in reverse order, from today to the beginning.

God

An encounter with a figure who appeared to be God or some kind of divine being was described in 56% of cases. Interestingly, 75% of people who consider themselves atheists reported these divine phenomena.

Feeling of ecstasy

Those who experience this phenomenon experience their own inner ecstasy - the great joy of being in this place, liberation from their body and earthly problems, in the presence of loving beings. 56% of people have experienced this.

Endless knowledge

Many (46%) people felt that they had unlimited knowledge, as if the universe itself was sharing wisdom and all the secrets with them. Unfortunately, people, after awakening, cannot preserve this knowledge, however, they always remembered it, telling that knowledge really exists.

Afterlife levels

It seems like there isn't just one place in the afterlife. According to 46% of those surveyed, they have traveled or were aware of various levels and places of the afterlife. Some were even shown and allowed to experience what Hell or Paradise is.

You are not ready to come with us yet

Slightly less than half (46%) of those surveyed say that their spending in the afterlife turned out to be a kind of barrier where it was necessary to make a decision: to stay there or return to life on Earth. In some cases, unknown beings made the decision for them, telling them that they had to return because they had unfinished business. Others, however, were given a choice and were very reluctant to return.

Visions of the future

In 44% of cases, people received knowledge about future events and phenomena. Such knowledge may have been given to them to help them make decisions whether to return to earthly existence or not.

Light at the end of the tunnel

The "tunnel of light" has become almost a hallmark of near-death tales, however, only 42% of people in Williams' study reported it. These people felt themselves heading rapidly towards a powerful light or quickly running up an endless staircase.

Materialistic science claims that this phenomenon is caused by a lack of oxygen in the brain and other neurobiological effects. While researchers have been able to duplicate or simulate some aspects of NDEs in laboratories, the possibility cannot be ruled out that such otherworldly experiences are real.

The bottom line is that we do not know and, perhaps, will never give a 100% answer about what awaits us after life, until we ourselves are there. In almost all cases, people do not return from there:) So how then can you tell the rest of the living people about this? Write your opinions in the comments!
