The world famous physician unexpectedly for everyone told the world that the process of a person's dying is quite “peaceful” and, to some extent, even “pleasant”. This is Dr. Sam Parnia, Director of Intensive Care and Resuscitation Research at New York Medical School.
The doctor noted that people who have had near-death experiences sometimes describe encounters with deceased relatives, but insists that the sensation is not evidence of an afterlife. He also reported something about physical processes:
At the same time, the doctor, who is the author of several studies and books on the topic of death, noted that there is a mental process that makes people who have experienced clinical death again strive for these sensations. He noted that this is proven by observations of thousands of patients:
However, Dr. Parnia stresses that there are scientific explanations for all of these reactions, and the above observations are not evidence of an afterlife. In his opinion, there is a control scan of the brain for the ability to survive. Moreover, the doctor is confident that thanks to modern technology and science, "death should not be limited to philosophy and religion, it can be fully investigated with the help of science."
