Xue Mei was an active member of the Chinese Communist Party. She truly believed in the ideas of Marxism.
“I was a die-hard atheist,” she wrote in a post on the website of the Death Research Foundation (NDERF). "But clinical death completely changed my views on the meaning of life and the ethics of the whole world."
Xue suffered from a chronic cough. She was often hospitalized, undergoing antibiotic treatment. One day, when she was injected with an intravenous drug, Xue suddenly heard sounds like the grinding of train wheels. She passed out and felt herself entering a dark tunnel.
Dark tunnel
“I flew quickly through a dark tunnel, I was scared, did not understand what was happening to me. Just now everything was fine, and suddenly everything changed. I wanted to stop and go back, but I couldn't. I screamed desperately, but no voice could be heard. All my efforts were in vain. I perceived myself as a grain flying in an eternal circle,”said Xue.
If it was death, then it was not at all what the woman expected.

Death is not the end
Xue realized that she had separated from her body. If it was death, then this is not the end, as she believed earlier: “I did not disappear, but was isolated from the physical world. I didn't feel pain, I floated like a feather, and I felt very comfortable."
The woman was surrounded by beings full of compassion. Using telepathy, they calmed and comforted her.
“The long dark tunnel has disappeared. I was in a bright, warm and clean world. I no longer felt pain, did not suffer. Everything was enveloped in eternal peace and bliss,”Xue said.
She saw the whole world on a microscopic level
The woman saw each molecule of different objects, saw that microscopic particles contain whole worlds and felt that several different dimensions exist simultaneously in one place.
Xue saw what was happening around her physical body in the hospital: her phone rang and she knew who was calling, while the doctor was giving instructions to assistants. She even saw through the wall two hangers in a closed cabinet in the next room.
When the doctor approached Xue, she knew that she needed to get his attention in order for him to save her. She thought that she still had a lot to do in her life, to take care of her little child. The woman also did not want her parents to mourn inconsolably.

“My spirit dropped sharply, my head started spinning. Finally, I entered my body. When I opened my eyes and sat up, I started vomiting non-stop,”Xue said.
Xue is grateful for this experience because she became less afraid of death and the materialistic understanding of the world has changed.
