Many people are afraid of death by and large only because they do not know what awaits them on the other side of life. But there are those who have already stepped over this line once, and this is what they tell about their near-death experience.
Kiara Saint-Clara, spoke about the unbearable feeling of loneliness that she experienced after her heart stopped beating for almost two minutes. “I felt lonelier than I can describe it,” the woman says, “and this feeling has been ingrained in my brain for more than a decade.”
“It was a dark, empty space where gravity seemed to be absent,” Kiara continues. “I called my friends and family who left earlier. I was surprised that nobody came to calm me down."
Lucia Arrigucci nearly died after a horse accident in 2014. “My heart almost stopped three times,” Lucia describes her experience, “I really understood what was happening. Each time I felt myself leaving my body, moving away from it and how I was drawn to the light. My first thought was: "Well, that's all, and there is nothing to be afraid of, if only people knew how to die, then there would be no need for so many experiences around it."
Christopher Mooney claims to have been dead for 20 to 30 seconds. He describes this time as a feeling of immeasurable calm and as “the most peaceful moment” of his life. “When they say that life flashes before my eyes, that's how I felt,” says Christopher. “I thought about my life, about who I was, and what I could do better.”
