A young man from the American state of Missouri became famous for his search for investors to fund an expedition into the deep African jungle "to document unknown flora and fauna." It would seem nothing extraordinary - but he is going to find a living dinosaur there!
Stephen McCullah, the organizer of the expedition, decided to explore the region that has long been known as the habitat of the Mokele-mbebe - a kind of African Chupacabra, Loch Ness monster or Bigfoot.
The mythical creature Mokele-mbebe is a dinosaur, about 10 meters in height, gray-brown in color and a long flexible neck, that is, it looks something like this:
The existence of this living creature has not been documented by any expedition, which has been undertaken more than once, but the locals believe that Mokele-mbebe lives in caves on the banks of the Congo River and feeds on elephants, crocodiles and hippos.
Stephen McCulla posted his offer to investors on Kickstarter (the most famous site that aggregates the search for funding for creative projects). So, for the "first expedition in the XXI century to classify plants and animals in the unexplored regions of the Republic of the Congo," he needs to collect 27 thousand dollars.
A team of four people tentatively outlined the start of the expedition on June 26 this year. For the stated goals, the private members of the team clearly lack the proper level of education in the field of biology and zoology, nevertheless, they "expect to discover hundreds of new species of insects, plants and fish."
“We have received eyewitness reports that dog-sized spiders and large dinosaurs have been seen in the region,” continues Stephen.

When McCull was asked if he really expected to meet monstrous tarantulas and dinosaurs, he replied: "On our first expedition, we may not meet Mokele-mbebe himself, but we believe that in three months we can find significant traces of his habitation in this region."
Even if McCool's team does find some evidence of mysterious creatures, most cryptozoologists (those looking for unknown or mythical living creatures) believe that only material can convince scientists of the existence of such animals as Mokele-mbebe or Bigfoot. evidence.
