As a resident of Shymkent Nina Kazorina told Interfax-Kazakhstan, last Sunday she and her husband were returning home from Lenger (a city in the region) when she saw a man on the side of the road who was looking at something in the sky.
“We slowed down, thought something had happened, asked how we could help, and he said that he had just seen the launch of a UFO,” N. Kazorina said.
“Azamat (that was the name of that man. -“IF-K”) said that when he was driving along the road, something blinded him, as if a sunbeam or the headlights of an oncoming car, and he automatically pressed the brake. When he opened his eyes, he saw that there was dead wood burning on the side of the road, and looked up to see if the fire had spread to the trees. It was then, as he said, that he saw a dazzling bright point receding in the sky. And when I looked at the field, I saw circles,”N. Kazorina said.
“Then my husband and I and Azamat went to the field, and my husband took a picture of the circles,” she said.
The correspondent of the Interfax-Kazakhstan agency visited the place indicated by the interlocutor and found two circles of unknown origin at the exit from Shymkent, on a burnt field about 100 meters from the road.
“At the same time, dry grass was completely preserved in one circle with a diameter of about 15 meters. In the second circle, about 13 meters in diameter, the dead wood is completely burnt out,”the agency's correspondent said, adding that each circle contains bare areas of land in the shape of a U.
