Police and doctors are racking their brains over the cause of death of a 37-year-old man who fell unconscious after he opened Pandora's Box.

Jason Airy's mysterious death occurred in May of this year. Relatives found a man without feelings in his own bedroom. Apparently, he lost consciousness suddenly, next to the body was a box with the inscription in red letters "Pandora's Box".

The investigation did not find any traces of drugs in the body of the deceased, and an intact bag of synthetic marijuana was found inside the box. According to investigator Robert Chapman, the autopsy results showed that Ayre's heart suddenly stopped beating, and then the rest of the organs refused - but experts were never able to determine the root cause of what happened.

The man never regained consciousness and died in the hospital two days after admission. The father of the deceased, Dennis Irie, told the investigator that on the day of his death, Jason returned home in a great mood.

"He was as usual," said his father. "He went to town to shop and went up to his room to change."

After a while, the first to be worried was his wife Anna.

"Soon she came back and said something was wrong."

Mr. Airy entered the bedroom and found his son kneeling, face down. “I touched him - the shirt was sticky. His face turned blue. The pulse was barely beating."

While they were waiting for an ambulance, Mr. Airy did artificial respiration, then Jason was taken to the hospital. Mr. Airy said he found a small bag inside Pandora's Box and thought it was a drug, but the substance did not smell. It was later revealed to be synthetic marijuana.

“It looked like the box had just been opened,” said the father. "She was lying next to Jason."

"My son hasn't taken drugs since he got into trouble with ecstasy 13 years ago."

Tests did not find any trace of drugs in Jason's body. The doctors concluded that death was from natural causes.

“Sudden cardiac arrest led to brain death and then other organ failure. But no one could tell why the heart stopped."

"Pandora's Box" in Greek mythology is the repository of all the world's evil.
