Our planet has experienced several severe cataclysms - floods and earthquakes, which, presumably, destroyed Lemuria, My and Atlantis. The earth also changed the position of the poles. Where tropical plants grew in ancient times, kilometers of ice are now piling up. It will focus on the ancient civilizations of the Arctic and Antarctica.

Many peoples, especially the Indo-Aryans, remember the legends about their ancestral home, located somewhere in the far north, in the area of the modern Arctic. In ancient Greece, these lands were called Hyperborea, which means "the most distant in the north." The Germanic peoples knew them under the name Thule. There were large islands in a circle around the North Pole.

In ancient times, there was no heat at the North Pole, of course, but the climate was mild. When it became unbearably cold here, the inhabitants of Arctida set off in the direction of the south: first to the island of Novaya Zemlya, and from there to the Yamal Peninsula and along the Ural (Ripeyskiy) mountains to the South Ural steppes. The sacred city of Arkaim, recently discovered by scientists, was built here. The city was named after the first king of this people - Yima, or, as the Indians called it, Yams.

The European scholar Eduard Shure wrote in his book The Great Initiates:

What is left of Arctida today?

To the north of Canada is the largest island on our planet - Greenland. Its area is over 2 million square kilometers. The name of the continent translates as "Green Country". Now it is almost completely covered with ice and snow.

The greatest ice thickness here reaches more than 3 kilometers, and people live only on the southern coast of the island. In summer, there is really a lot of greenery here. It would be possible to melt a multi-meter thickness of Greenland ice in order to conduct archaeological excavations, but in this case, the water level in the Arctic Ocean would rise significantly from the melted ice, which would cause large floods and massive loss of life.

In the eastern hemisphere, there are smaller remnants of Arctida - the islands of Svalbard and Franz Josef Land.

On the opposite part of the globe, the seventh continent, Antarctica, covered with a multi-kilometer layer of ice.

Studies of scientists from different countries have made it possible to determine that in a very long time ago, on the site of icy Antarctica, there was a kingdom of tropical forests. This earthly paradise was uninhabited.

An indirect confirmation of this is the geographical map acquired by Admiral Piri Reis in 1513 (300 years before the discovery of the ice continent!) In Constantinople.

It depicts the northern part of Antarctica - Queen Maud Land, as it looked between the 13th and 4th millennia BC. On the instructions of his command, the accuracy of the image was checked by the American polar pilot Harold Olmeieri and came to the conclusion that “the geographical details depicted at the bottom of the map are in excellent agreement with the seismic data taken through the ice cap … This means that the cartographic survey of the coastline has been completed before glaciation …"
