As a result, our planet may one day become uninhabitable.
Experts using three-dimensional modeling have demonstrated the relationship between the content of carbon dioxide and water. A significant increase in CO2 concentration ultimately leads to the emergence of a greenhouse effect, making the earth's climate extremely unstable.
According to experts, in this case, the average global temperature on the surface of the world's oceans can be about 56 degrees Celsius, and the high humidity of the upper layers of the atmosphere will only accelerate the process of water migration from it into space.
The most unpleasant thing is that these processes are irreversible. That is, even in the case of a subsequent decrease in the concentration of carbon in the atmosphere, the evaporation of water will continue.
Nevertheless, scientists say that the inhabitants of our planet have nothing to worry about yet. We do not produce the colossal amount of carbon that can lead to such dire consequences.
But other earth-like planets may well expect such a development of events.
