Many people believe. that such anomalous manifestations of the other world exist only in the cinema, but the number of cases of demonic possession of people increases every year.

It is increasing so much that the churches no longer have enough exorcises to help all those in need, and it is necessary to urgently organize real schools to train warriors with demonic entities that take possession of people.

Official science has historically taken a skeptical position on this issue, but there are those who are not afraid to express the opposite point of view.

For example, Dr. Richard Gallagher, chief psychiatrist at Princeton and Yale Universities, believes demonic possession of people is indeed very real.

With 25 years of experience in private psychiatric practice and as a professor at New York Medical College and Columbia University, Dr. Richard Gallagher has the rare opportunity to observe human behavior. And among the usual cases of mental illness, he repeatedly saw paranormal cases when a person was possessed by an otherworldly entity.

He is also a sought after psychiatrist for recognition, the initial step in determining the need for an exorcism. Dr. Gallagher has evaluated hundreds of cases of possible mastery and believes that this phenomenon is genuine.

In April, at a Vatican training course for exorcist priests, participants were told that the demand for exorcism is flourishing as a result of the decline in Christian faith and the Internet, providing easy access to black magic, the occult and Satanism.

They are very, very smart. The intelligence of a fallen angel is far superior to humans,”says Dr. Gallagher of demons infesting humans.

Pope Francis has repeatedly reminded his followers that Satan is "a real being, wandering the earth to devour souls like a lion." In April, he wrote: “Therefore, we must not think of the devil as a myth, representation, symbol, figure of speech, or idea. This mistake would lead us to let go of our guards, become careless and become more vulnerable. " He observed that life can be "a constant struggle with the devil, the king of evil."

Last year, addressing priests attending the Vatican's confession course, the Pope said that confessors "should not hesitate" and summon exorcists for those penitents who suffer from "real spiritual demons." Describing the rite of exorcism as a "delicate and necessary service," the Pope exhorted that the exorcising priests should be chosen with "great care and great discretion."

In the United States, the number of exorcist priests has increased from twelve to fifty over the past decade. As the demand for exorcism continues to grow, Dr. Gallagher's medical assessment of whether a person is mentally ill or possessed by demons helps determine if exorcism is required.

He is not the only American psychiatrist who is confident in the reality of demons, there are many others who support the opinion of the doctor and the church itself on this issue.

“There are many other psychiatrists and mental health professionals who do what I do, but they hesitate to say it openly,” he explained. - I am not afraid of criticism, I am confident in my statements based on my many years of experience as a scientist and a well-known psychiatrist”

“I had one patient named Julia from the USA. She was possessed by a demon and the priests called me to give my conclusion. What I saw immediately showed the abnormality of the situation. This girl possessed paranormal powers. flying under the ceiling of the room, she declared to me, - “I worship Satan. I don't know about this God. There is a lot of shit in the world. I don't see how people can believe in a good God. But I know Satan. He gives me strength"

Julia reveled in her paranormal abilities and demonstrated those abilities to Dr. Gallagher. One morning, at 3 am, usually calm cats broke into his bedroom and jumped on the bed, bared their teeth and began to growl at him. Their fur stood on end, and their eyes burned with fire.

The next morning he came to Julia and she immediately told him from the doorway, - Well, how did you like meeting my cats last night?

On another occasion, Julia demonstrated her ability to see a person from thousands of kilometers away. She said to Dr. Gallagher, "We really hate the Father …" she meant the exorcist priest. She explained that it was her job to “keep an eye on him,” although she lived in another part of the United States. She then described the priest at that moment, "walking along the beach in his blue windbreaker and khaki pants, and he says prayers." Dr. Gallagher quickly called the priest on his cell phone and he confirmed everything that Julia described. The priest noted that usually he would have been in his ward at that time, but on that particular day he decided to take a walk along the beach.

When it was decided to carry out the rite of exorcism, Julia was tied to the bed, and she suddenly turned her head 80 degrees and, without opening her lips, a terrible voice inside her said, “Leave her alone, the priest! You monkey priest, she is ours! The voice lasted for about five minutes and then she came out of the trance. Then Julia said to him: “Well, what shall we continue with the monkey? We told you that she is ours, you leave her alone!"

The rite of exorcism seemed to bear fruit and Julia seemed normal, but after a while she joined the sect of Satan worshipers and the demons again owned her soul, or maybe the rite did not work out and they remained inside her, hiding for a while.

A year passed and Julia herself called the priest who performed the exorcism ritual with her and asked him to perform it again. The priest called the doctor so that he would examine her, but when the doctor tried to contact her, she replied that she needed to think more. She never went out again, and it soon became clear that she had died suddenly.

The psychiatrist is sure that demons are real. He heard their victims speak different languages, noting that demons know all languages. When the priests perform the ritual in Latin, the victims speak it. They always answer in the language they are spoken to, even if the person himself has never studied this language.

Dr. Gallagher believes that demons have been watching people from the very beginning. “They are very, very smart. The intelligence of a fallen angel is far superior to human beings, so they vilify people. Sometimes they call us “monkeys,” he says.

People captured by demons can levitate and have telepathic powers, the doctor says. But they never show these abilities in front of cameras. “Demons are intelligent, evil, manipulative creatures. They won't work for the camera. They know they are being taped,”he said.

He does not believe in the use of group exorcisms, which, he says, can harm simply the mentally ill, preventing them from receiving the medical care they need. For a truly possessed person, he said, the ritual must be performed privately, not publicly.

Dr. Gallagher says -. “The clergy of many different denominations, who sent people to me, feel that something is happening and entities from outside of our world began to penetrate to us more often.”
