Can a demon be possessed by a person? Many religions of the world do not deny the possibility of demonic possession. Psychics and sorcerers say that a curse induced by a black magician can make a person possessed. It is believed that even an ordinary evil eye is able to "add" a dark entity in the biofield, which will steal luck from its "owner" and in every way spoil his life.

In order to combat obsession, various rituals are performed. Exorcism (chanting with prayers) is considered the most effective - a special rite aimed at driving out demons. Other people prefer to fight this scourge with the help of sessions of magic and conspiracies.

Who are the clickers, the possessed and possessed?

It is customary to call these three terms people whose soul or consciousness, in one way or another, has been captured by dark forces. It is believed that the weaker the human will, the easier it is for infernal entities to master it. A person becomes especially vulnerable to such negative effects during sleep (which explains nightmares), illness or severe stress.

Klikushi or demoniacs are people whose pathology becomes especially noticeable when they visit a holy place, for example, an Orthodox church or monastery. In such a place, the klikusha often begins to shout (shout out) all sorts of curses, or shout in the voice of a rooster, goat or other animal. In some cases, the possessed become dangerous to others and to themselves. Icons and other ecclesiastical paraphernalia are capable of plunging hysterics into a strong shock.

Possessed is a more serious case. Such people may not show themselves for a long time, but one day they seem to go crazy. Stories are known of cases when the possessed inflicted serious harm on others, killed themselves or other people. Moreover, first of all, their relatives are in the “risk group”. Many supernatural phenomena are associated with the possessed - real cases of levitation are known (people flew into the air for no apparent reason). During the rite of exorcism, the possessed could begin to spew feathers and other objects.

Exclaiming by Prayers - A Church Perspective

Both Orthodoxy and the Catholic religion allow for the possibility of possession. According to the church point of view, God can "let" the devil take over, if not the soul of a person, then at least his consciousness and behavior. This can be a test of the Christian's faith or punishment for some sins.

Characteristic symptoms appear in the behavior of the possessed and whooping cries, by which you can easily recognize the problem:

- Negative reaction to temples, churches, religious paraphernalia

- Involuntary shouting of curses, imitation of animal voices

- Memory losses

- Sometimes a demoniac (even a child) shows tremendous physical strength

- Committing unmotivated acts, acting against one's own will

- Some possessed people hear voices and see vague scary images

It is believed that an Orthodox priest or a Catholic priest endowed with special powers can help the possessed. Will the priest read the psalm in Russian, or will he carry out proofreading in Latin from ancient manuscripts preserved in the archives of the Vatican? By and large, this is not critical. Exorcism is a kind of competition between the will of a priest and the will of an evil spirit, who managed to "capture" a person.

Interestingly, the followers of the voodoo cult also believe in the possibility of a person's obsession with dark forces. Only they more often call such victims not hunters or possessed, but zombies. It is believed that a zombie does not feel pain and fear, he will do anything without hesitation, and will even go to his death on the orders of his "master".

What do psychics and sorcerers think of possessed people?

From the point of view of specialists from the world of magic, obsession is a corruption, sometimes even directed at the whole race. A strong magician can "attach" a demon to his enemy. Such a "settler" accompanies a person everywhere, and gives him many inconveniences. An invisible guest can scare a person, manifest as a poltergeist in the house, harm in everyday affairs and in relationships with others. Sometimes an energy settler even comes into contact with a person and tries to push him to destructive actions.

If we consider the obsession with a magical attack, then it can be argued that a stronger sorcerer can remove such a curse. He will read spells and carry out magic rituals that will help the victim to "get rid of" the dark essence that attacked him.

But where will the demon or the devil go after he is exorcised by magical means? It all depends on the will of the psychic who performed the ceremony. In principle, the magician can send the energetic essence "home" - to the lower worlds of the astral plane. But if there is a desire, then you can take revenge on the offender, and add a demon to the one who sent him.

Perhaps the possessed are simply mentally ill?

Of course, in the 21st century, obsession was recognized as a disease and even given a name - schizophrenia. People susceptible to this mental disorder often exhibit the same symptoms as hysterics or possessed people. The reasons for the development of schizophrenia include hereditary predisposition, severe mental shocks, and sometimes the abuse of substances that can disrupt the dopamine balance.

However, it is impossible to explain why some "schizophrenics" are actually helped by church lectures or rituals to drive out demons conducted by psychics and sorcerers. One gets the impression that “specialists in working with the human soul” (clergymen, psychologists and psychiatrists, magicians and sorcerers) talk about the same problem in different terms and practice different methods of solving it.
