41-year-old Beth Jannetta, a resident of the Gower Peninsula in Wales, recently went for a walk with her dog on the local Rhossili Beach and discovered the remains of a frightening crocodile-like creature with a snake-tail.
There were many remains of sea creatures lying on the beach, including a decomposed squid, but it was these remains that baffled the woman. At first she thought it was a whale or a dolphin, but how could they have such a tail?
Unfortunately, only one photo of the remains got into the British media and there are no pictures from the back or sides. It is only known that the creature is very small in length, only one and a half meters.
Experts on marine animals could not determine the species of the remains, but admit that it could well be a dolphin or a porpoise.
Some other experts also agreed that despite the strange tail, it is most likely a dolphin or a small cetacean, only heavily decomposed.
According to ranger Mark Hipkin, dead dolphins, seals and even sheep are regularly carried to the beaches of Wales.
