Moving through space and time

The miracle of materialization

There is a phenomenon that most clearly demonstrates the true capabilities of the multidimensional psychoenergetic nature of man. This is a long-known phenomenon of materialization and dematerialization in the East, which is mastered mainly by adepts who are very experienced in esoteric arts. Unlike the phenomenon of doubles of people, which sometimes occurs with ordinary people and even against their own will, materialization and dematerialization are possible only with prolonged and serious psychospiritual practice and require not only great knowledge, but also huge energy resources for their implementation.

In the East, they knew about the possibility of such phenomena since ancient times. The art of materialization and dematerialization has always been considered an integral part of the abilities achieved in the course of mastering yoga. The ability to heal, move objects with your eyes, move through the air and walk on water, stop and restart your heart, stay without air for hours, walk on fire without getting burned, take deadly poison without harm to the body - what miracles were not in the arsenal followers of the ancient teachings of yoga!

And yet, one ability of Indian miracle workers has always been especially incomprehensible and inexplicable for Europeans - this is the ability to suddenly appear, as they say, out of thin air and disappear into nowhere right before the eyes of astonished people. Many opinions and judgments were expressed on account of this ability. The most common explanation for this phenomenon boiled down to one thing: hypnosis! Instant hypnosis, sometimes massive, making people believe that the yogi disappeared into thin air or walked through a wall … But in stories with incredible disappearances or, conversely, appearances there are significant details that do not fit into the framework of hypnosis alone. Although, judge for yourself.

Yogi walking on the roof of the prison

In the relatively recent past, in one of the Indian cities - Benares, which was ruled, like most of India at that time, by the British colonial authorities, a curious incident occurred.

Promotional video:

Puritanically educated Englishmen were outraged by the custom of Indian sadhus (hermits and saints) and yogis to appear on the streets of cities and villages in only loincloths or even naked. One such yogi, who meditated on a quiet street in Benares without clothes, especially annoyed the English. Colonial law enforcement officers decided to teach the "savage" a lesson and, in order to introduce him to European etiquette, they seized and put in prison. The yogi, however, did not protest. But a couple of hours after his imprisonment, the head of the prison went outside to breathe fresh air and, to his indescribable horror, saw this yogi leisurely walking on the roof of the prison: the ascetic became stuffy in the cell, and he also decided to freshen up.

There was a commotion, the yogi was caught and sent back. At the same time, they checked the locks on the doors and put a sentry at the cell. But all the precautions taken were in vain. During the hottest hours, the yogi still strolled serenely on the roof, and the prison authorities went crazy, not understanding how the prisoner managed to get out despite the fact that the window in the cell was so small that no one could climb through it, even if there was no grate, and additional locks hung on the doors and, above all, there was a sentry.

Without solving this riddle, the British in the end simply escorted the yogi out of prison wherever they looked. In fact, who needs a prisoner who "seeps" out either through the keyhole or through the bars on the window … or, God forbid, even going through the wall? And by what hypnosis is it possible to explain the disappearance of a person from a cell locked with all locks, from which the sentries did not have keys? No matter how powerful the art of hypnosis is, no one has yet succeeded in hypnotizing the walls of the prison, forcing them to part.

This incident was cited by the famous Indian spiritual master Paramahamsa Yogananda in his Autobiography of a Yogi. In this work, several more evidences of the unique abilities of yogis to materialization and dematerialization were given. Once, while still a disciple, Yogananda, along with his friend and fellow practitioner Digen, awaited the arrival of the spiritual master, Sri Yukteswar, from another city. But it so happened that the teacher did not have time to board the train on which he was supposed to arrive and which the students were waiting for. The telepathic message of the teacher arose in Yogananda's mind: "I am late, there is no need to meet the nine o'clock train." Dijen did not believe the telepathic message given to Yogananda and went to meet the train on which the teacher was to arrive. Yogananda remained alone in the room and … became an eyewitness to the experience of materializing his teacher.

“Since the room was rather dark, I sat down closer to the window overlooking the street. The scanty light of the sun shining through it suddenly turned into an intense shine, in which a window with an iron grating disappeared. Against this dazzling backdrop, the clearly materialized figure of Sri Yukteswar appeared! Shocked, I got up from my chair and fell on my knees in front of him. With the usual gesture of respectful greeting to the guru's feet, I touched his shoes. They were familiar to me - tarpaulins, orange, with rope soles; he often wore these boots when traveling. The ocher clothing brushed me slightly, I clearly felt not only its fabric, but also the sandy surface of the shoes and the toes inside them.

Unable to utter a word of amazement, I got up and stared inquiringly at him. "I'm glad you received my telepathic message," the teacher's voice was calm and almost natural. "And now I have finished my business in Calcutta and will be in Serampore by the ten o'clock train." Because I was still gazing silently at Sri Yukteswar, he continued, “This is not a ghost, but my body of flesh and blood. I have received divine permission to show you this experience, rarely attainable in earthly conditions. Be at the station, you and Deegen will see me walking towards you and dressed as now. There will be one fellow traveler ahead - a little boy with a silver jug. " The Guru put both hands on my head, whispered a blessing. When he finished it with the words: "Goodbye", I heard a specific rumbling booming sound (the characteristic sound of dematerialization of bodily atoms). His body gradually began to dissolve in the penetrating light. First, the feet and legs disappeared entirely, then the torso and head, like a roll-up scroll. Until the very end, I felt his fingers touching my hair. The radiance disappeared, before me there was nothing but a window with a lattice and a flowing pale stream of sunlight."

How does this happen?

Rare in earthly conditions, the experience of materialization of people often has on the eyewitnesses of this miracle not only mental, but also physical impact, since the phenomenon of materialization or dematerialization of the physical body of a person is accompanied by the release of a large amount of energy into space. Indeed, “disassembling” your physical body into atoms in one place on the globe and “assembling” it in another - such a task requires unheard-of energy reserves and is not accessible to all of the most outstanding ascetics. Naturally, the ability to materialize differs from the most frequent and accessible by nature phenomenon of twins.

The double, or the ghost of a real person, is his astral body, separated from the physical and consisting of condensed astral matter. With such a separation of the astral body, the physical body of a person remains "in place", mainly in a trance state, but without any displacement in space. During dematerialization, the physical body, along with the astral double, disappears in one place in space and appears in another. A characteristic feature of this process is the light emission, which was mentioned by Yogananda and other rare eyewitnesses of materialization.

This glow is obviously formed due to powerful energy radiation accompanying the transition of physical matter to another state, which is called plasma in modern physics. In esoteric sources, it is repeatedly mentioned that higher states of matter have the quality of luminosity. Physical matter in the full sense of the word dissolves and turns into light, characteristic of higher states of matter.

Adepts of esoteric teachings had the ability to materialize and any objects and objects besides their own physical body. The most striking historical example of this kind of ability was the phenomena produced by the founder of the Theosophical movement, H. P. Blavatsky. Blavatsky always emphasized that she mastered the ability to materialize and dematerialize objects in space (as well as other phenomena) under the guidance of the Masters of Wisdom, in India called Mahatmas (translated from Sanskrit - Great Soul). Mysterious sages and philosophers of India sent Helena Blavatsky into the world with an enormous spiritual and educational mission.

The phenomena that Blavatsky produced (sometimes in front of hundreds of amazed spectators) were supposed to confirm the truth of Theosophy - a scientific and philosophical esoteric teaching about the world and man, which Blavatsky was supposed to popularize in Western countries. A close associate of Blavatsky's, William Judge, who witnessed many different phenomena demonstrated by Blavatsky, described them as one of the active participants in the Theosophical movement in India:

“I saw her make things in the room move around without anyone's help. Once before our very eyes, a silver spoon from the farthest room flew through two walls and three rooms and ended up in her hands, just by her silent order. On another occasion, she removed from the wall a dozen cans of paint that I needed to paint a picture in her room. One day she took the sealed envelope, and a moment later the letter was in her hands, and the envelope was still sealed. She touched the letter again, and a duplicate of it appeared. She now had two absolutely identical letters in her hands. There was another case with her ring with three sapphires. One lady really wanted to revile him. HP Blavatsky took it off and gave it back. The lady left, taking with her an illusory semblance of a ring, and the original remained in place. And there are hundreds of such examples."

To this can be added the cases when E. Blavatsky ended her lectures on Theosophy with a rain of flowers that fell on the heads of the audience right out of thin air; the ringing of invisible astral bells and other miracles that regularly occurred in the presence of Helena Blavatsky. However, as W. Judge adds, “it all pales and pales in comparison to those delightful hours when we listened to the Enlightened Ones. They often appeared at nights when everything was quiet, and talked at lengths with Henry Olcott and with me. Most of what I saw and heard in New York, in her presence, took place between midnight and four in the morning. It goes without saying that in New York the adepts of the East usually appeared in their astral bodies or by materializing their physical bodies …

Guest walking through the walls

One of its eyewitnesses - an outstanding scientist-orientalist with a worldwide reputation Yuri Nikolaevich Roerich, the eldest son of the great Russian artist, scientist, traveler N. K. Roerich - kept vivid memories of this rare phenomenon. When the Roerichs were in the Kulu Valley, which is considered one of the most sacred places in India, a mysterious visitor often came to Nikolai Konstantinovich - a lama (as the inhabitants of Tibet call Buddhist clerics). Yu. N. Roerich, then still a very young scientist, was greatly interested in one circumstance of his father's meetings with this guest: no one saw how the lama disappeared from the Roerichs' house at the end of the conversation. One of Yuri Nikolaevich's students in his memoirs described this episode, told to him by the scientist himself and associated with these mysterious visits. Once, during the arrival of the mysterious guest, Yuri N. Roerich entered the room, where the lama's conversation with his father took place. They sat opposite each other and talked calmly, confidentially, not paying attention to the newcomer.

“I sat down on the edge of the chair and seemed to be stiff. I don't hear or see anything, or rather, I hear and see something, but as if with the entire surface of my skin. I don't know how long I sat like that. I woke up when my father carried me in a semi-faint state to the bed. The next morning, my father reproachfully said: “Do you see how you traumatized your psyche? However, you got what you wanted. " And Yuri Nikolaevich wanted to understand how the mentor Lama left behind closed doors: "I saw a human form dissolved like fog, passing through … a wall."

… and you cannot enclose my body

The ability to dematerialize at times played a more serious role in the life of the ascetics than simply creating comfortable conditions for moving in space. At times, this ability helped its owners to preserve their lives, as evidenced by the historical chronicles. Thus, the famous philosopher and spiritual teacher Apollonius of Tyana, who dared to openly challenge the vicious and cruel Roman emperor - the tyrant Domitian, was summoned to court, where, in the presence of hundreds of Roman citizens who filled the tribunes, he was charged with anti-Roman activity and sacrilege.

The punishment with which this kind of offense was punished was traditionally - execution, at best - prison. But, standing in front of the Roman emperor, the 85-year-old sage proudly threw the tyrant: “You can put my body in prison, but not my soul. And I will add that you cannot enclose my body either. At these words, a dazzling flash of light flashed on the place where Apollonius stood - and the famous sage literally vanished into thin air in front of a huge crowd.

As we can see, the dematerialization of one's own body is carried out by adherents of esoteric teachings for different purposes and under different circumstances. But, probably, the most extravagant goal and no less original conditions were accompanied by the experiments of dematerialization in the practice of Mexican Indians, described in the works of the American anthropologist Carlos Castaneda. A kind of test of the level of possibilities achieved by the student was his jump from a great height into the abyss, during which (that is, during a free fall) he had to dematerialize his physical body so that it would not crash on the bottom of the abyss. Of course, such a leap was preceded by many years of psychoenergetic training.

The incredible ability of a person to control the state of matter of his own body, of course, can be perceived in different ways. You can believe this, but it can be considered fiction. But the conclusions of a number of modern scientists, which is very important, confirm the reality of such a transformation of matter. It is known that the physical and plasma state of matter is capable of transitions from one to another, just as water can become ice, vapor, and again return to its liquid state. Ordinary physical matter contains many more mysteries and possibilities that modern science is just beginning to study. But even more mysteries are fraught with the multidimensional nature of the human body, capable not only of controlling the state of matter from which it is formed, but also of overcoming space and time.
