A video of a vigorously swinging empty swing in a small playground has spread like wildfire across India's social media (see video below).
A video that appeared online earlier this month shows a bizarre scene in broad daylight, in which one of the two swings hangs motionless while the other swings wildly on its own with incredible amplitude.
At the same time, it is clear that the unexplained wobble is not caused by the wind or some other natural phenomenon. Judging by the reaction of the eyewitnesses, they are clearly agitated, and the eerie effect increases towards the end of the video, when the person behind the camera runs away, ostensibly in fright.
It seems that this is how modern urban legends are now being born. But the city in which the footage was filmed remains unknown to this day, as many people from Jalandar to Mumbai claim that it happened in their park.
Is what happens on the playground really related to paranormal activity? It is likely that this is just a simple hoax using a thin line.
However, this is not the first time that strange swing behavior has been recorded on video. Two years ago, a Rhode Island family filmed a similar scene in a playground. So, it is quite possible that there are places somewhere where ghosts enjoy swinging.
