Ghostbusters have discovered a ghostly human figure at Wentworth Woodhouse, the UK's largest private home near Rotherham, South Yorkshire, for sale (see video below).
Once a majestic castle with a rich history, which in the early 19th century lived the fourth Earl Fitzwilliam, considered the real prototype of Mr. Darcy, the protagonist of the famous novel by Jane Austen "Pride and Prejudice", now needs serious restoration.
And while the deserted palace is waiting for the future owner, participants in numerous tourist excursions constantly stumble upon its ghostly inhabitants. Among them is a dark shadow slamming doors in different parts of the castle, a tall ghost walking along the corridors, not to mention constantly falling objects and chairs.
Yvette Fielding and her team of paranormal researchers have released their new video about a night hunt at Wentworth Woodhouse, during which a ghost was seen in one of the palace corridors.
Sweating with excitement, the hunters, while inspecting the empty room, heard footsteps and rushed into the corridor, where a ghostly rather stout man appeared right in front of them, who calmly climbed the stairs and turned left. The steward and Karl rushed after the translucent figure, but she was gone.
“The steward immediately ran after him, but we could not find him in any room,” said Karl, Yvette's husband.
At this time, Yvette herself with the second part of the team and the dog were in another part of the castle and also saw a male figure on the stairs, which they took for their friend Steward.
“But you couldn't see the Steward slowly climbing the stairs, he literally flew up the stairs,” Karl said as the team was already discussing the video they received.
