Arriving on a call from a family allegedly affected by a poltergeist, police officers from the Scottish town of Rutherglen in South Lanarkshire witnessed paranomal events themselves, including the levitation of a dog.
This came after the family, after two days of strange and inexplicable activity in their home, finally decided to call the police in a desperate attempt to get help. The police were bewildered when they found themselves faced with supernatural phenomena happening in this house.
Perhaps most incredible was the fact that a Chihuahua pet dog playing in the garden was on top of a two-meter hedge. In addition, the police saw flickering light, clothes flying across the room, and the spontaneous opening and closing of the stove damper.
Representatives of the police department told the media that their officers, who have 20 years of experience in law enforcement, were themselves shocked by the incredible events and described what was happening as a "poltergeist." Eventually, the police asked the Catholic priest to visit and consecrate the house.
The terrified family left the house and do not appear to be making any plans to return to a potentially dangerous location. Hopefully, in the rush, they didn't forget to take their beloved dog off the fence.
