Leonid Levin said that all fears that after the creation of Runet Russia will turn into China, where most of the sites are blocked, are in vain. He stressed that there will be no ban on the use of the foreign Internet.
From November 1, 2021, telecom operators will have to switch to national domains. In addition, the law allows you to mark the blocking of those sites that may have prohibited information. However, this is only if the operator has the technical means to deal with the threats.

The bill was approved on February 12. On March 10, rallies were held for a free Internet. By the way, the notorious Pavel Durov, the former director of the social network Vkontakte, called on them to enter.
