Recently, the topic of ghosts in houses and apartments has been popular in the media. However, as paranormal experts say, what sometimes looks like a ghost is not at all. For example, it can be psychokinesis, which one of the tenants of the apartment may possess, but not even realize it. As practice shows, this often happens.
The company ZAO Lenstroytrest decided to take advantage of this by organizing the “Apartment for a Ghost” competition. Participants were asked to submit to the jury videos proving the presence of otherworldly forces in their homes. A prize awaited the winner - an apartment in a new building.
Thus, the company tried to draw attention to the construction of a new residential area "Yanila Country" in the village of Yanino. More than 50 applications came to the competition. The winner was the short "2:16", the main character of which is the ghost, which the creators of the plot dubbed Nebula.
A small nuance: the ghost didn't have to be real. The authors of 2:16, four young people, showed their imagination. “We came up with special effects on the go, made up the ghost out of paper tape and paint, and for the smoke we had to buy dry ice,” says one of the authors of the video, Svetlana Fedyakova.
The resourceful four were given the keys to the "odnushka" worth 2 million 640 thousand rubles. True, friends have not yet decided how they will divide the winnings.
But apartments with real ghosts are not popular at all. For example, a few months ago in one of the real estate agencies in Kazan, a deal for the sale of a "Khrushchev" apartment, located in a five-story building on Shosseinaya Street, failed. The fact is that Shosseinaya was built on the site of a former cemetery. The first local wooden houses, according to legend, were heated with crosses brought from the churchyard … And since then, otherworldly entities do not leave local residents alone. So there were no people willing to buy housing in a "bad" house.
What awaits those who nevertheless decide to settle in a "suspicious" apartment? There will be no peace, say people who have experienced such "happiness."
Psychologist and paranormal researcher Peter Sacco investigated an incident in February 1970 in St. Catherine's near Niagara Falls. A violent poltergeist began to pursue a family living in one of the houses … The police officers who arrived at the scene watched with their own eyes how the owners' little son was flying around the room on a chair. Another time, a chair pressed the baby to the floor, and the policeman who was present at the same time could not remove him, as the piece of furniture was held by some mysterious force … When the child was sitting on the lap of an adult, something tried to drag him away. Someone pulled and lifted the objects in the room … Then a saucer flew into the head of the police officer, launched by someone's invisible hand … In the end, the guards left the house, unable to understand the situation.

After that, the owners invited the clergy. As soon as the first of them crossed the threshold of the house, an armchair flew to his feet … The rite of consecration helped, and the poltergeist stopped.
Peter Sacco puts forward two versions of the reasons for the incident. The first of them is associated with the distant past. So, on the site of St. Catherine's, military battles took place several times. It is possible that the local inhabitants are disturbed by the souls of the killed soldiers. But there is another version - psychokinesis. This means that there is a person in the family who has a special kind of energy that can affect the world around him, but is not able to control it. Perhaps in this case it was a little boy, since most of the "troubles" happened to him.
A very similar story happened recently in Bratsk. In one of the communal apartments, various objects began to fall and fly through the air, including furniture. Also, residents heard sounds of unknown origin, and mysterious symbols repeatedly appeared on the walls …
The appearance of the poltergeist is associated with 12-year-old Christina, whose father lives in one of the rooms. After the divorce of the girl's parents in the apartment where she was left alone with her mother Anna, strange phenomena also began to occur. According to the hostess, she observes flights of things every day. So, someone once threw a hammer directly into the TV screen … After the priest's visit, images of crosses appeared on the Bible out of nowhere, and a bent cross was also bent.
Not so long ago, the famous Irkutsk explorer Nikita Tomin visited the "bad" apartment with a group of "ghost hunters". Video cameras recorded a fall from a hook of clothes hanging on it, as well as a mop in the corner, and a laptop belonging to one of the guests … But no paranormal entities appeared in the frame.
Nikita Tomin believes that the poltergeist is associated with a girl who is experiencing stress due to her parents' divorce. “It all starts with the usual psychology of family relationships, if conflicts arise, internal conflicts, they spill out in this unusual way,” he comments. So every apartment where a ghost allegedly lives should be dealt with "individually" …
