Two residents of Chicago on Friday, May 5, 2017 at about 8 pm in the area of Calumet Park, located in the southern part of the city, saw a creature that looked like a huge bat.
An eyewitness, who introduced himself as a law enforcement officer, said that he and his 10-year-old son walked along the paths of Calumet Park, which is very popular among cyclists, runners and roller skaters.
“We were talking with my son about our plans for the summer when we saw a big goose over the sports arena. Over the past month, many geese have flown over the city and suburbs. But the more we looked at him, the clearer it became that this was not a goose,”the man clearly saw a 2-meter black-and-gray human figure with two huge wings, the span of which reached about 3 meters.
“My son was completely shocked and asked me:“What is this?” I replied that I don’t know.”Father and son heard a couple of people scream in surprise as a winged humanoid flew over them and soared over the covered arena in the center of the park, then disappeared from view.
According to an eyewitness, the strange encounter lasted about 30-35 seconds, and the speed of the creature that flew 5 meters above them was approximately 70-80 km / h. It was already getting dark, but the sun had just gone down, so there was enough light for observers to be able to closely examine the mysterious creature. Then they walked around the sports arena, hoping to see him again, but found no one.
The law enforcement officer decided to report this case only after he found information on the Internet about similar events that occurred in different areas of Chicago.
This is the sixth time that a mysterious creature comes across in front of the inhabitants of Chicago. Experts investigating these incidents have compiled an interactive map of the “flying man” appearances and are urging everyone who has encountered a similar phenomenon to report their observations.
