So that no one has any doubts about the grandiose greatness of the processed monolith, here are his brief introductory notes:
Height 7 meters; weight 168 tons; the breed is andesite.
The original position of the monument:
Rodney Gallop's photograph of his two sons, Nigel and Christopher, as well as their pet Mickey riding the deity. Photo taken between 35 and 38 years. XX century
Indians?
How did the Indians transport such a weight, in the absence of knowledge of the wheel?
Transportation of the Tlaloc monument to the building of the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City 1964
Promotional video:
How did the Indians process such a rock (andesite - hardness on the Mohs scale 5), in the absence of hard iron alloys (copper has only 3)?
Now, attention! Traces of processing of the Tlaloc monument (Mexico) coincide with traces of processing in the Aswan quarry (Egypt):
National Museum of Anthropology (Mexico). Tlaloc monument. Occipital part:
Screenshots from the film Tláloc de Coatlinchán.
Aswan. Quarries (Egypt):
As they say, information for thought …
Other details. Tlaloc's face destroyed (blue). What the true face of the monument used to be is now impossible to establish.
In my opinion, the whole statue most of all outwardly resembles not a person, but a robot:
Obvious asymmetry of the facial part: the right "eye" is drowned, the left is covered with something or not at all (cleavage is difficult to determine), different shoulders, etc. - the upper right part is more "indent", possibly due to deliberate deep damage.
There are no fingers on the hands - they look more like manipulators, and instead of a mouth there is a convex element with two rows of holes.
The back side is strongly elongated and volumetric resembles a knapsack.
In other words, a lot of questions have arisen on this grandiose monument, to which no intelligible answers have yet been found …
