The glade outside the village of Rakhmanovo, in the Pushkin District of the Moscow Region, is a legendary place. According to legend, in the XIII century, Russian soldiers stood here tightly in front of the hordes of the Golden Horde. Until now, archaeologists have found fragments of ancient weapons here, and the local population hears eerie sounds.
It looks like an unremarkable field by the road. But as soon as night descends on earth, incredible things begin to happen.
“My friend and I were returning from the railway station late in the evening,” said Sergei Zvyagin, a resident of Rakhmanovo. - We are walking across the field and suddenly we hear the clatter of hooves. Yes, as if a herd is approaching us. We are on the sides - there is no one. Then everything calmed down, and after five minutes, voices were heard. But we didn’t make out a single word - a continuous hum. The next morning they told about all the neighbors. Granny Nyura was not even surprised: this, she said, happens every night.
Mushroom pickers do not like those places. They say that the forest is dense - it happened that people wandered for several days. And the trees there are strange: the trunks are bent, and the bark from them is falling in flaps.
- Above this glade, glowing balls often appear, - Sergey continues. - At first it seems like a star falls, but then it approaches and freezes. Old people say it's a UFO, but it seems to me - a ghost.
In the winter of 2012, the tourist club "SV-Poisk" came to Rakhmanovo with an expedition. The guys set up a tent camp, adjusted the equipment, prepared cameras and began to wait.
“It all started unexpectedly: the clatter of hooves, screams, the sound of metal, as if someone was fighting with swords,” recalls the expedition participant Vera Kolodkina. - An eerie sensation. The men with flashlights went into the forest, but saw no one. When everything calmed down, we made a fire and began to review the pictures: many of them caught glowing balls over the field through the lens. Towards the morning I had to go to the woods. I went behind a tree, but I can't find a way back. I see my fire, but I can't get out to it - I wandered around for an hour and a half. She called for help, but no one responded. I was completely exhausted, sat under a tree and burst into tears. They found me only when it was daybreak.
