In the Volgograd region, in the small town of Zhirnovsk, once lived a real time traveler who came to us from the 23rd century. This person was Evgeny Iosifovich Gaiduchok.

They learn about him only in the early 90s, after Eugene, in 1985, decides to meet with one of the researchers of the paranormal, Vadim Chernobrov. For him Gaiduchok reveals his main secret: he flew into our time from the future.

Chernobrov clearly remembered the words of that strange man: "I have come to you from the 23rd century." When the researcher asked why he came to him, Evgeny replied that he had read Vadim's works on time travel. Chernobrov was extremely surprised by this news, because at that time he did not have any records of cars or time travel (except for one small article). All Vadim's main works on this technology appeared only after a couple of years.

To prove the veracity of his words, Yevgeny told Vadim that the USSR would disintegrate in a couple of years, Boris Yeltsin would come to power as president, and, in addition, Yevgeny described the future war in Yugoslavia. Then Vadim doubted the words of that strange man, but when all these events came true, then there was no doubt - this man was indeed a guest from the future.

Evgeny Iosifovich said that he came to our time while still a teenager. In the twenty-third century, when he was 13 years old, Eugene decided to impress the girl he liked and took her for a ride in a stolen time machine. Unfortunately, in the 30s of the twentieth century, the car crashed. The teenagers understood that the car could only return one person back, so Eugene gave way to the girl.

She was supposed to return for him with help, but her appearance never took place. Eugene hoped for help, because he knew what awaited the USSR in those days. Fortunately, the teenager was adopted by good people, and he began a new life.

When the war began, Eugene accurately named the date of its end. After the war, he created and headed the local history museum and, in one of the halls of the museum, hung a long multi-meter poster depicting the main events of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Eugene even wrote poetry about the Internet and mobile communications. Then, of course, no one took such things seriously.
