It is not without reason that the Kashkulak cave is considered one of the most mysterious places on Earth, inspiring a sense of animal fear. Around this cave, there are legends about the half-decayed bones of people found there, mystical shadows and the sounds of a tambourine from nowhere.
Getting to the cave is not easy: it is located in the Kashkulak mountain range, which, in turn, is located in the wilderness of the Republic of Khakassia. Local "forwarders" organized a tourist route to the cult cave and offer to descend on a rope to the very bottom of the dungeons.
According to rumors, the ghost of a murdered shaman dwells in the underground labyrinths, frightening visitors by playing the tambourine, and everyone who enters the cave has panic hallucinations. Perhaps, once it was customary to arrange sacrifices here: at the bottom of the cave, bones of animals and even people come across. Despite all these ominous legends, there are only more and more people who want to tickle their nerves.
The stories about the appearance of hallucinations in the Kashkulak cave caused serious concern among scientists who tried to study this phenomenon. In the 1960s, a group of students was struck by a strange phenomenon: two girls, who went down into the cave in a normal state, went crazy on the way out. Another case involved a group of schoolchildren who went to a cave under the supervision of experienced archaeologists. For inexplicable reasons, they left the cave in a hurry. Later, a boy from this group, unexpectedly for everyone, committed suicide, leaving a suicide note in which it is mentioned from the Devil in a stone hole.
In 1983, a group of speleologists surveyed the grottoes and, after several hours in the cave, headed for the exit. The last of them was preparing to climb up, but suddenly suddenly turned his gaze to two luminous lights in the pitch darkness. The caver felt that he could not move - the body seemed to be shackled with horror. In the darkness, a barely noticeable figure of a man moved … The cavers who were on top got tired of waiting for their comrade and raised him, saving him from a painful nightmare.
Such stories were not isolated, and some of them began to appear on the pages of local newspapers. Then the anomalous object attracted the attention of Novosibirsk experts: they arrived at the cave to conduct experiments related to the impact on the human psyche.

The research results allowed the cavers to make sure that a geomagnetic anomaly is acting in the cave: the electromagnetic field inside regularly fluctuates. According to one of the versions, this could be due to low-frequency impulses emanating from the Kashkulak paleovolcano. They are out of the range of audibility of the human ear, but have a strange effect on the psyche. In addition, the air could contain poisonous impurities that cause hallucinations. Therefore, the visions in the cave are not at all a figment of fantasy, as many skeptics believe.
