Diana Barron, a 46-year-old tourist from Norwich, claims to have photographed the ghost of a woman who disappeared 500 years ago at the ancient Oxburg Hall in Norfolk. Her photograph revealed a ghostly creature covered with a black robe, which was on the bridge next to other visitors.
Oxburg Hall is a medieval country house built by the courtier Sir Edmund Bedingfeld in 1482 and serving as a refuge for Catholic priests fleeing the persecution of the Protestant Queen Elizabeth I.
It is believed that the house is home to the ghost of a Spanish woman who mysteriously disappeared there in the 16th century. There is no additional information regarding her disappearance, which makes her appearance even more mysterious.
Diana Barron is sure that this ghost appeared in her photograph. She is adamant that she did not edit her photograph and that the dark figure was on the bridge.
“It was a normal sunny day, there were a few clouds in the sky,” Diana said. - I took a few shots, while there were no events in the Hall that day. It was only later that I saw a dark figure on the bridge."
“When I took the picture, I didn’t realize that something unusual appeared on it, but when I enlarged the image, goose bumps ran all over my body. My friends felt the same way."
Psychic medium Ian Griffiths, who reads the information from the photographs, confirms the opinion that the ghost in this photograph may be a woman missing.
“I feel like this is a young woman around 23 years old with long dark brown hair who was very beautiful. She was eight months pregnant and drowned. She was not married, her father was the royal groom. She was repeatedly seen on the stairs inside the castle."
