In the village of Lemeshovka in the Vinnitsa region (Ukraine), fear reigns. An unknown animal tore up more than twenty domestic dogs within a few weeks! The monster "took off the scalp" from the animals and tore out their hearts, and some even fell through the ground, although they were tied. The owners were left with only collars in pools of blood
“Probably some kind of mutant,” says Tamara Khomenko (65), a resident of Lemeshovka. “The very first he lifted the little white Cannon of my neighbor Veronica Zadorozhnaya. I gouged out his heart! And then, also at night, he attacked my Kuzya. But he killed him in a different way - he just crushed him. And so it began: he came to the village almost every night, killed more than twenty dogs - both large and small! And the monster doesn't eat dogs. It only tears apart and hides."
According to the stories of local residents, the monster attacks only in the dark, and its victims never bark, as if hypnotized. Therefore, none of the villagers, except for two women, never saw the mysterious killer. And these two bystanders could only get a glimpse of him. Tamara Khomenko says: “In the dark, my friend Natalya Sinelnikova thought she was a wolf. And I, in the light of a lamp in the yard, seemed to see something big, with a calf's height, its back is red, and below - everything is black.
Sergei Levchuk, deputy head of the Kalinovskaya regional veterinary hospital, is sure: "If an animal does everything so cunningly, then it is smart." But what it is - he cannot say for sure. “We drove out, examined the places of incidents, but there was nothing to withdraw for examination. It is hardly a hybrid of a dog and a wolf, because they do not usually attack domestic dogs. Maybe they are feral dogs that attack pets, seeing them as competitors. In general, it is not clear now what it is,”says Levchuk.
Local hunters managed to find traces of the beast. “At first we thought it was a wolf, but the last time a gray was in this village was 8 years ago. The tracks are large, also similar to those of a dog. But until we find this animal, nothing can be said,”says Vladimir Datsenko, head of the regional society of hunters and fishermen.
The village council chairman Viktor Protsenko says: “Three times at night the men from our village shot at something, they thought it was him. But the beast always left. I think we are dealing with a huge feral dog. Outside the village we have a poultry farm and a cattle burial ground. Previously, she could live there, and then moved to the village. First she strangled all the vagabonds, and then spread to domestic dogs."
Attacks on dogs in Lemeshovka have stopped in recent days. Rumors immediately appeared that some wild animal had been shot in the neighboring village of Glinsk, but the village head of Glinsk, Sergei Koval, said: “The hunters did not shoot anyone here.”
This means that the mysterious beast is still alive, and where now to wait for its appearance is unknown.
