Is it possible that a completely unknown civilization lives under the surface of our planet?
Many people believe that the Hollow Earth theory is not just a myth, and some have even tried to prove it scientifically. Even today, in the 21st century, it is difficult to say with certainty what is true and what is fiction.
For many years it was believed that the earth was hollow, but although there were many theories, there was no evidence to this effect until 1968.
This year, in images taken by satellites, adherents of this theory have considered a huge hole located at the North Pole. This turned out to be enough to re-heat the battles around this hypothesis.
Below are some of the facts that hollow earth adherents present as irrefutable evidence:

In the early 1970s, ESSA, a project owned by the US Department of Commerce, provided media access to images of the North Pole taken by the ESSA-7 satellite on November 23, 1968.

2. Vice Admiral Richard Byrd of the United States Navy was a distinguished pioneer pilot and polar explorer who flew over the North Pole on May 9, 1926 and made numerous expeditions to Antarctica, including over the South Pole on November 29, 1929.
Between 1946 and 1947, he and his team conducted a large-scale operation called High Jump, during which he explored some 1,390,000 km² of Antarctic territory.
3. The famous expeditions of Byrd first spawned a controversy about empty theories of the Earth, when several articles and books like Worlds beyond Polesby by Amadeo Giannini argued that Byrd did not fly over the pole, but moved inside the Earth through holes at the poles.
The version that the earth is empty and that the center of the earth can be reached through the north and south poles, and that highly developed civilizations thrive within it, has fueled people's imaginations for centuries.
We find evidence of this in the history of countless ancient civilizations. The Babylonian hero Gilgamesh visited his ancestor Utnapishtim in the bowels of the earth.
In Greek mythology, Orpheus tries to save Eurydice from the underground hell. The ancient Egyptian papyri says that the pharaohs of Egypt communicated with the underworld, which could be accessed through secret tunnels hidden under the pyramids.
Buddhists believed (and still believe) that millions of people live in Agartha, an underground paradise ruled by the king of the world.
4. Leonard Euler, an eighteenth-century genius, concluded that the Earth was hollow and had a central sun and was inhabited.
5. Dr. Edmund Halle, discoverer of Halley's comet and Astronomer Royal for England, also believed that the Earth was hollow inside with three "tiers".
6. The Third Reich Map shows several secret passages that were used by German U-Boats to access mysterious underground regions, as well as a complete map of both hemispheres and the mysterious kingdom of Agartha.

7. Karl Unger, a crew member on the submarine commanded by Heinrich Brodda, wrote several letters stating that the crew had reached the interior of the Earth and that they did not want to return.
8. On maps made by renowned cartographer and artist Heinrich K. Berann for the National Geographic Society in 1966, the Antarctic continent can be seen without its thick layer of ice. But the most intriguing detail is the presence of underwater passages spanning the entire continent and seem to converge at the exact location that is identified as the opening to the Void or Inner Earth.
9. The Makusi Indians knew about the existence of the Hollow Earth almost a hundred years ago.
The Makusi Indians are indigenous peoples who live in the Amazon, in countries such as Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela. According to their legends, they are the descendants of the children of the Sun, the creator of Fire and disease, and the protectors of the "inner Earth".
Their legends speak of entering the underworld.
Until 1907, makushi entered some kind of cave and traveled for 13 to 15 days until they reached inner peace. It is there, "on the other side of the world, on the inner earth", where giants live, creatures that are about 3-4 meters in height.
10. And … There is a huge Ocean inside our planet.
Scientists have only recently discovered a large ocean of water inside the Earth's mantle, and they point out that it is a large reservoir of water that could fill the oceans on Earth three times over.
This incredible discovery suggests that the planet's surface waters originate from within the Earth as part of the "complete water cycle on the planet", rather than the mainstream theory that water arrived on Earth with icy comets that fell on our planet millions of years ago …
11. According to John Cleves Simms, Jr., an American military officer, merchant, and lecturer:
“The earth is empty and inhabited within, contains a series of solid concentric spheres, one inside the other, and that it is open at the poles of 12 or 16 degrees, I promised to devote my life to support this truth, and I am ready to explore this emptiness, if the world will support and help me in this matter."
12. Scientists from Harvard: there could be an Ancient Earth inside … Earth
A team of scientists at Harvard believe that remnants of an ancient Earth dating back to the time another planet collided with ours to produce a moon could still be lurking deep in the Earth's mantle, otherwise how could they explain these anomalies?
13. Researchers have found evidence of a possible "inner sun" heats the planet from the inside.
