If you look at the modern world through the prism of the sacred texts of the Bible, it turns out that we are all descendants of Noah, who escaped on the ark during the Flood.

However, any sane person will immediately have a question: really none of the representatives of other peoples of the Earth could survive that terrible cataclysm? Or, perhaps, in the mythology of other peoples, who also describe the Flood, the legends about their Noah have not been preserved? The famous writer and paleoethnographer Vladimir DEGTYAREV agreed to answer this question.

Vladimir Nikolaevich, is the Bible really the only book that describes the salvation of man during the Flood?

- Indeed, in the enlightened world it is believed that if it were not for the righteous Noah, who built his ark, then today there would be no humanity at all. According to the Bible, Noah saved not only "seven pairs of clean and seven pairs of unclean" animals, but also the seed of all animals and plants on Earth. By the way, all this simply would not have fit into the ark, if only Noah had not used some technical apparatus for transporting the seed of animals and plants. This allowed him, immediately after the water subsided, to recreate the old world, in which, according to the Bible, the entire human race went from Abraham.

Was it really wrong?

- Let's start with the fact that the Bible is not the primary source. The description of the flood came into it from the Babylonian texts, and Babylon got it from the Sumerians. In the Sumerian clay tables, it is written clearly about the aggregates that preserve the seed of animals. Today they are silent even about the fact that the petrified wooden ship of biblical dimensions discovered under the city of Nazir was built somewhat differently than it is described in the Bible. The fastenings of the ship are made using the technology of riveting connecting huge wooden parts. The bushings, through which the steel rivets went, are made of platinum. Moreover, the steel of the rivets is anodized with aluminum - for corrosion protection. Was Noah melting platinum and sharpening steel in his goatskin tent? Unlikely!

Do the mythology of other peoples of the Earth have their own Noi?

Promotional video:

- Yes! And several hundred. Today ethnographers all over the world know more than two hundred legends and myths of different tribes and peoples about the once former Flood. The well-known English ethnographer James J. Fraser laid the foundation for this collection of valuable evidence. His book "Golden Branch" (originally - eight volumes) is actually an excellent guide for teaching the basics of ethnography and paleoethnography.

For example, according to the legends of the Kamar tribe in India, some mother and father managed to hide their son and daughter in a large deck with a huge hollow. Moreover, they carefully supplied them with food for 12 years. When 12 years passed and the water came down, the heavenly God came down to earth and heard the conversation of people in a wooden block. Then he opened the deck and made the brother and sister get married, they heeded the request of God and populated the world.

In the Malay Archipelago, only one woman survived the flood. In grief, she was forced to walk between the corpses of men and mourn her fate. At the same time, the woman gathered stones and with those stones tried to kill a bird or fish in order to eat. Having accidentally missed, instead of a fish, she fell into the body of a dead man. And then a miracle happened - the man came to life. Then the woman began to throw stones at all the human bodies that lay on the island - they all came to life, and their descendants settled on the Earth.

In South America, the Orinoco Indians say that after the flood there was one man and one woman. They were very sad in their loneliness and, not knowing what to do with themselves, began to throw back, over their heads, the seeds of a certain palm tree. If a man threw a seed, then a man grew out of this seed; if a woman threw it, a woman appeared. So the world was populated. There are hundreds of such legends!

Do the peoples of modern Russia also have a similar mythology?

- Sure. Kamchadals learned about the impending water cataclysm by some signs they knew. Not wanting to die, they built rafts from huge trees, stocked up on food, as well as huge stone anchors. By the way, information about anchors is contained in every third flood legend. As a result, when the water began to rage, the Kamchadals dropped anchors, thereby preventing the water from carrying their rafts into the ocean. They waited for the moment when the water turned the current towards the mountains, and then they raised the anchors. Thus, they reached the tops of the mountains and were saved.

In Siberia, the Chukchi, Evenki, Nenets and other autochthonous peoples of Siberia, including the Aleuts and Eskimos of North America, talk about how they escaped themselves and saved their families, because they had kayaks - boats in which fishing gear was always ready fish and seal hunting. When the water rose, they got into boats, swam, fished, and took seals. So we survived. When the water disappeared, many bones of sea animals remained on the ground. They are still lying, you can make sure that the natives do not lie about the great flood.

A number of mythological sources mention the miraculous revival of the dead after the flood, or even the creation of new people. This is not very similar to the truth …

“At least that's what the myths say. I will give a short excerpt from the legend about the flood of the Canadian Indians, who belonged to a large tribal association of the Algonquins. This legend was brought to Europe from Canada by a Catholic missionary in the 19th century:

“… Only one person remained on earth - a man. He really wanted to have a wife, so he took a knife and carved his wife out of wood. Cut to full height with all the smallest details. After the act of love, the wooden woman suddenly came to life. By the way, in the same XIX century in Rome there lived a certain Carlo Collodi, who undoubtedly became interested in the missionary's story and later wrote the well-known tale about Pinocchio. In Russia, he is known under the name Buratino.

According to the ancient legend of the Aryans, unknown to a wide circle of readers, after the Flood there was also one male man who grieved greatly for his wife. Once, being in great anguish, he sat on the bank of the river and instead of fishing, he shoveled the silt caused by the waves of the flood. Lost in thought, almost mechanically, the man made a lying woman out of silt, giving her face the features of his wife … And again, after the act of love, the woman suddenly sighed and came to life. Getting up, she told the man to go fetch firewood, “… for I was terribly hungry when I slept for a very long time. It's time to cook dinner."

In another Aryan tale, instead of silt, a man used sea sand left over from the flood. He also blinded a woman out of sand. But the nymph who came to life after the love act immediately presented him with an ultimatum so that he declared himself her husband. The unfortunate sculptor was frightened by the revival of the sand and, out of fear, began to pour water on the woman. As a result, the beautiful creature again turned into a pile of sea sand.

Is the cause of the flood called in the myths of the peoples of the world?

- In the legend about grandfather Rasan, the ancient Aryans accurately and clearly describe the ancient gods, who destroyed their huge palaces and temples before the great flood, and at the same time the dwellings of people. The reason for this behavior is unknown, but the desire of these "gods", as the ancient people called them, can be traced to destroy their technical achievements so that they do not go to young mankind, who is not ready to dispose of them.

It is curious that if the Bible and some other sources name the sinful deeds of people as the reason for the flooding of the planet 12,500 years ago, then the Sumerian and Indo-Aryan legends directly indicate the cyclical nature of this cataclysm, depending on the cyclical precession of the earth's axis. The last time the great flood came from a sudden tumbling of our planet, when the poles were suddenly reversed.

It would be difficult to prove if it were not for the ancient Arab maps copied from very ancient, very accurate antediluvian maps. On them, the south is at the top and the north is at the bottom. Above on those ancient maps was depicted the present Antarctica, and below - the Arctic Ocean, on the shores of which the states of the Aryans and their companions were located. The center of the huge and powerful civilization of the Aryans was the Taimyr Peninsula.

Its ancient, antediluvian name TA BIN, which can be translated as "The earth is written for the sons of the gods." By the way, because of their white skin color, blond hair, beards and blue eyes, the Aryans were always called "sons of the gods." This is stated in the Mahabharata, in the Ramayana, and in the Rig Veda.
