Beach goers in Australia were perplexed to find a cow and a bull on the ocean.
In Australia, a cow carcass was unexpectedly found on Wongalling Beach. A day earlier, the body of a large bull was found on South Mission Beach, DailyStar reports.
According to the secretary of the Mission Beach Community Association, Truus Biddlecomb, people were extremely concerned about the finds.
“We have no idea where they came from and, of course, they can pose a health hazard to others if they are not removed quickly,” he stressed.
The cow was discovered by a federal member of the AF Kennedy Bob Cutter.
“This is another good example of the damage caused by floods,” he said. “We will never know about the full extent of this damage, but I would say that it amounts to about $ 20 million: this is losses in warehouses, and damage to property, machinery and equipment.”
It is believed that the animal died during floods in North Queensland and was washed into the sea.
Beaches on the south coast of Queensland remained closed due to the threat of Tropical Cyclone Linda.
