INN, biometrics, Big Data, chips, artificial intelligence, digitalization of everything and everyone … There are various horror stories about digital slavery or a concentration camp, as some say. Many are frightened by the prospect that the most severe methods can be used, up to and including the removal of children from families. What should an Orthodox person do? What to expect?
To begin with, these are not horror stories. Today we see that the digitization of our lives is in full swing. Yes, as far as Russia is concerned, these are not chips yet, but, for example, some state-owned banks are already offering to use biometrics to access their money. Similar technologies for human control have been developed for a long time. And only a completely careless person cannot fail to notice the trend.
Already in the not so distant future, we may come to that. that if we refuse to accept the control label - or call it whatever you like, say, the way of reading information from us - this will mean that we will refuse to participate in society with all the ensuing consequences that will threaten with serious restrictions. This is at best, with a "favorable" development.
The people who will promote such technologies are likely to take the most brutal methods to force everyone to participate in the wonderful new digital world. To understand what these methods can be, let us turn to the experience of European countries and their juvenile justice. There, if you fell out of favor with the supervisory authorities (and the pretexts by the standards of the Russian mentality may be the most bizarre), your children can easily be removed from the family and you will never see them again. At best, they will then be sent to a traditional family. And cases when children are passed on to homosexuals are, unfortunately, not uncommon. And this is one of the reasons why the Russian Orthodox Church opposes the imposition of laws related to juvenile justice and does not allow the bill on domestic violence to be passed.
The Lord said that before this all begins, there will be great tribulation. And what grief can be worse than when they begin to take children away from their parents ?!
And such persecutions may begin in the near future just in the most progressive Western countries that call themselves democratic, which seek total control over people - informational, digital and ultimately physical. Biometrics, big data, artificial intelligence, chips and other innovations will come in handy here. Even in the forest, you will not escape from drones. There is a small hope that this fate will pass Russia. God willing!
